Apparently Dan Clancy shows up in chat at some point, but I don't know when.

He doubled and tripled down on killing protesters, both people interfering with ICE and those "blocking cars in the street".

This is approximately 2 days after he was whining about Hasan being an extremist.

Okay, so... regarding that extremism and doubling down...
Tell me where he is unreasonable, I'll even link the double down you mentioned.

Not regarding the "blocking cars in the street", but on everything else

Quote/transcript as far as relevant, emphasis added.
I think anybody who's going around and trying to hit police officers, there's no reason why anybody should be supporting that.
Again, I've said this before, anybody throws a rock or tries to harm one of the police officers. I think they should just use deadly force to stop it from happening. There's no reason why anybody should be putting up with that. It's disgusting, honestly, that there's so many people that are okay with it.

And by the way, they cut this out: [cut to footage] Well, I advocate for self-defense only. I don't think they should just go out and shoot people randomly. Of course
not. It's crazy. [...] So I I'll repeat my position on this. If you are violent towards a police officer and you use anything that could be used as a deadly weapon, I think the police officer should be able to shoot you and kill you. Anything else other than that is denying a person their basic right of self-defense and self-preservation.

Police officers are people. They should not be treated like punching bags, training dummies, just because you haven't taken your medication for the day.

Regarding the "blocking cars in the street", if someone stands in front of my car, I'll try to go around them, but if they are gonna start preventing me continuing my way just to protest, they'll find I have a clutch that slightly slips and a car that will keep rolling at a very slow pace until they make way. If that is met with agression, the pace will increase. I don't think you'll find a majority that disagrees with such a course of action. Plurality at most.

Okay, but that isn't what he's been describing at other times. He's described just "mowing people down" who block his car. Here he sneaks in a quick "we should shoot on sight". And I get that we're on KF so we're all supposed to be operating at cosmic hyperbolic levels of indifference and 'too cool for school fuck everybody I don't like' but I haven't personally sniffed enough paint fumes to not realize that murdering someone who slightly inconveniences me is low impulse nigger tier behavior.

The most annoying part of it all is that he's just LARPing all of this shit. He does not leave his house. None of this shit is ever going to happen to him and it's certainly not what he'd do if it did. It's no different than that one smelly high school kid who would sit down at your lunch table and would talk about what he would've done if Colombians kidnapped his fake girlfriend. Except even gayer and more LARP-ish because Colombians actually do kidnap people, but Asmongold doesn't fucking go outside.

I feel bad but the incel in me just screams "this is the price of milking lonely men". This is definitely not ok but just because something isn't ok dosent mean it isn't to be expected.
To be frank unhinged dudes at conventions have always been a thing. I remember when E3 was at its height and forums like SA where losers would plan how to get away with groping booth babes. One dude even went in a wheelchair and pretended to be mentally disabled so he could grab as much as he could without anyone saying anything. And I have seen how much worse things are with clips of people committing crimes just to meet their streamer obsession. Even dudes have stalkers and parasocial people and they broadcast their locations every stream.

People are pointing out he has some kind of object in his hand.

>Be TwitchCon organizers.
>Invite Emiru.
>Host a fan meet and greet for her.
>Know full well she is a physically attractive female streamer on Twitch.
>Don’t put any extra security measures that would stop weirdos from trying to fuck her.

Twitch is literally the worst content creation website and company ever.

I'm like half and half on it. Guys a creep and I think if it wasn't Emiru it woulda been someone else he latched on to. That said Emiru runs her stream and creates the environment she wants which seems to be creating parasocial relationship with watchers through IRL streaming. AFAIK she started as a titty streamer so those roots must still run deep.

Longer video shows the guy walking away by himself. Unclear about whether he was reported on and subsequently apprehended. (LSF)

This new incident is also just shortly after Valkyrae and QTCinderella (who you may recognize as defenders of Hasan Piker's apparent dog abuse) declined to go to Twitchcon this year due to security concerns after a poor display last year and other incidents victimizing female internet personalities since, including a murder on broadcast in Japan.

Streamers are afraid to go to TwitchCon this year

By James Hale • 09/25/2025

Twitch CEO Dan Clancy said his platform takes security “extremely seriously” after Valkyrae and QTCinderella said they’re considering skipping next month’s TwitchCon due to safety concerns.

In a recent episode of their podcast Wine About It, the two streamers–who planned to record an episode live onstage at at the convention–mentioned the murder of Japanese streamer Airi Sato, who was stabbed to death by a male stalker while broadcasting in Tokyo.

“I’ve been so anxious and scared and sad this whole past week,” Valkyrae said. “It just takes one person.”

“Respectfully, I don’t feel irrational. I feel very scared,” QTCinderella agreed, adding that after Sato’s murder, “I almost pulled out of all my obligations. I was like, ‘I don’t think it’s for me.'” She ended up being “talked off the ledge,” she said, but other “horrible things have happened” that have made her nervous about attending.

She said that for now, she and Valkyrae have given Twitch “a soft, ‘Hey, we’re in a bit of a panic mode right now.'” We’ve seen reports that the duo have cancelled their TwitchCon appearances, but there’s no public confirmation of that yet.

QTCinderella didn’t go into the “horrible things” that have made her and Valkyrae anxious about security, but we can guess at some of them: This past March, Amouranth had her house broken into by people who wanted to steal her cryptocurrency; separately, less than 24 hours later, Valkyrae, Cinna, and Emiru were accosted on the street by a man who got down on one knee and proposed to them, then threatened to kill them when they refused.

There’s also the fact that TwitchCon was rife with harassment in 2024, mostly from Kick streamers crashing the event. One Kick streamer, DBR666, sexually assaulted creators Nmplol and Wake Wilder on camera. Other incidents ended in physical fights. After the convention wrapped, Kick CEO Ed Craven said his platform was “continuously working on reviewing policy and doing better,” while Twitch said it was investigating the incidents and pointed out that it had a safety/security team present at the event.

Clancy’s current response to Valkyrae and QTCinderella’s concerns has a similar vibe. “I want to be very clear; we take security at our events, like TwitchCon, extremely seriously,” he said. “Every year, we build on successful approaches to TwitchCon safety and security, particularly as we become aware of new or emerging security or safety challenges.”

He added, “We have teams focused on this year-round, including keeping creators and community members safe on Twitch or at TwitchCon. We have rules and standards regarding TwitchCon attendees, and we limit people who have been indefinitely suspended off service violations–they are not able to attend.”

Valkyrae and QTCinderella have not responded to Clancy’s statement–but Asmongold did, and he didn’t mince words, mentioning the incident with DBR666.

“Last year, nmplol and wake were sexually assaulted by a streamer and Twitch didn’t press charges or pursue any form of legal action against him,” he said. “If I was a woman, I would never go to twitchcon.”

Streamers including QTCinderella have talked about hiring personal security/bodyguards, but there may be conflict about what guards are allowed to do at TwitchCon. We’ve seen reports that TwitchCon security has a policy of not laying hands on anyone, which we imagine makes it difficult to truly protect streamers. We reached out to Twitch to confirm the veracity of these reports and ask what TwitchCon security staff are/are not allowed to do.

Whether Valkyrae and QTCinderella decide to go, TwitchCon 2025 will take place in San Diego Oct. 17-19. More than 22,000 people attended last year.

It's hilarious how incompetent this company is. Dan Clancy tried to build a reputation as a CEO who knew streamers personally, but somehow a blatantly retarded decision like this doesn't get backtracked. And now we're here.

I feel bad but the incel in me just screams "this is the price of milking lonely men"

I agree but I also agree with the other guy that if it wasn't Emiru, it would have been someone else. This takes a special formula of mental illness that is unfixable. Guys like this will always find someone to be obsessed with.

Ultimately, it's always a leadership issue. Dan Clancy, and probably everyone else in the C-Suite needs to be replaced.
