It's actually a pretty easy game if you understand the mechanics. The vanilla game gives you access to so many broken characters and abilities, while the devs purposely gimp the AI's semi-random load out. I'd like to see him try to get through 1.3 because he would never be able to beat it without cheating, or being forced to resort to the baby mode "content" version.
Just looking at that clip apparently he never figured out the bravery mechanic, probably never went treasure hunting in midlight's deep or use the poaching system at all. I saw a clip of him the other day still relying on ramza dual wielding bare fisted as a monk which is decent early game damage output but you get fucked once enemies out-pace that and they already had while he seemingly hadn't noticed shirahidori from the samurai job(and I guess still didn't without having boosted bravery on characters).
Looking through his vod from the other day, it seems he understood he could use steel on ramza but not his party. Bitching about an 87% casting chance to fail... well no fucking shit it can still fail 13% of the time, it's only 87%. Bitches about swiftspell not helping when casting lower level spells that already have a faster casting speed anyway. "I guess all we need to do is brute force damage dude" doesn't have his damage output anywhere near optimized. He actually has shirahidori on his dragoons but then they're only at bravery 75 and 70... has fucking JP boost on Orlandeau in a boss fight? Gets told to use mana shield and complains that the incoming attack does 950 damage while failing to understand that damage to MP doesn't bleed over..
How the fuck did this guy get to the end of the game in tactician mode and not understand ANY of this shit? Especially the mana shield thing because I saw him in a clip switch Reis back to a human which meant he already has Beowulf who has mana shield.

It's funny he cut off the top of the receipt so you can't see where he got it from (Costco, Sam's Club, etc., take your pick.)
I'm amazed he made it past Dorter Trade City, nevermind the solo Weigraf fight.
E: I really hope this isn't the start of an FF arc for him and he hops over to XIV. It's about the only game where he won't get bullied off the platform.

Is there any news on the new mega ferret death camp? I don't see it in his financial future. He is cooked and the numbers are dropping fast, across all fronts.
It would be hilarious if he presses on and collects as many ferrests that he can fuck to death as possible, but with the current numbers and public backing, I don't see it happening.

Probably not, but unless he starts on a JP server or manages to somehow hide his character's name (impossible) or plays exclusively with a static, people will be trying to find him and try to queue into content with him. If there's one thing FF14 players are consistently good at doing outside of being faggots it's stream sniping. There's a lot of milk to be had there.

Not sure about 2019, but he streamed 14 exactly once between September 30 2022 and now. Here's a post from a thousand pages ago (LOL) with some surviving footage. TLDR: Mald was doing some questionable things involving his ass and other people's faces (according to Mald. There's no proof of this, but I see no reason to doubt this particular story
), so even the trannies of Balmung might not have been amused by Mald's shenanigans (or they might've loved it, I dunno). Also, Mald has some very questionable skills as an "endgame raider" (of which there's no proof, although his characters are old enough to have been created around 2.0).

His raiding as a tauren druid before his onlyfangs saga (where he played a troll mage) already showed that he:

. But seriously though, it's physically impossible to fuck up a build in 14, because it has no builds. You can't even equip an "off-class" gear. The only thing required is to not be a clicker, and he somehow fails. I could even accept some sort of cope about "I'm bad at playing games and talking at the same time", but Mald would probably ACK before admitting he's kinda shit at what he does, and besides, there's way too much fucking dead air in his streams so he's not exactly overheating his brain with multitasking.
