No. I think there's bigger problems Marvel is suffering from right now than AI. Such as why manga has been stomping them for years on end, mediocre writing, and the obsolete methods that extend to the rest of the industry.

In this case all he is doing is pointing out once again he thinks that AI is over hyped like VR was and that it will go away. Community reference adds nothing to his point and the Tron thing is almost a non sequitor. Bob is very much trying to convince you he has seen it all before and that he is pretty clever for being able to point at things vaguely related to what he is talking about and go "SEE!?" Probably a combination of his diabetes and excessive alcohol consumption is causing his brain to deteriorate.
