I was 12 a long time ago myself and I am pretty sure I had knowledge of all of these things. She’s 12 not 6 years old and even 6 year olds can suss out the way babies are born even if it is from a schoolmate who gets to watch R-rated movies or something. I live in a medium-ish southern California community, it’s conservative so not entirely ruined, but it’s California so the best outcome is still pretty bad. Which means I’m thankfully safe from New Yorkers. But I’m also sadly at least a year away from away able to afford to leave this state.

Liberals, with their obsession with TV-grade theatrics, have this idea called "The Talk", where a member of a marginalized group sits their child down and delivers a dramatic, emotional speech about how the world is out to get them, that they will inevitably become a victim of one form of injustice or another, and that there's nothing they can do about it. The one you saw the most often was "The Talk" that black parents had with their kids, where they told them that a cop was definitely going to murder them just for being black, and that they had to live in constant, soulful fear of this.
What's worse is when you notice it, then rewatch old stuff and realise it has been infested for longer than you realised. I can't believe I took bossgirls beating up burly fighters seriously
