I once told someome Chilean food is bland and they tried to argue with as if it was Mexican food. It blows their mind when I tell them those fuckers dont use any spice and slather mayo on everything.

I just want to point out that this has almost nothing to do with the illegals. They are just the fulcrum of the conflict but not it's cause.

This open rebellion was 100% going to happen the second the Democrats lost the election. 100% guaranteed.

These illegals just happen to become the focal point due to Trump's promise to get them all out but that's almost irrelevant as it could just as easily been any one of Trump other polices goals. They were always going to fight tooth and nail to stop anything Trump planned. The main problem the Democrats have is that they've lost all institutional power in the Federal Sphere. All they have left are their drones in the court system and that's a delaying tactic at best as the SCOTUS lands pretty firmly on Trump's side, ignoring the she-boon and commie lady who would rule against anything as long as it's something Trump wants. So what do these Progressives do? What can they do? Well they still have a lot of power in the focal blue states (Commiefornia, Illinois, New York etc) so when a Progressive is on the backfoot and lacking power well that's signal it's time to start rioting.

They want to force a confrontation in the hope that Trump does something stupid so they can seize the momentum back and hopefully in time for the mid-terms as no matter how much these Progressives scream "Death to Power" they love to use that Federal power like a cudgel over their enemies.

The hope is that Trump causes something like a mass shooting, we all see Pritzker doing everything he can to try to force some kind of event without letting his goons go too far and giving Trump the excuse he needs to really crack down. Pritzker and Newsome both see themselves as the natural next step in the Progressive Program and really don't give a single shit who gets hurt in the path to the Whitehouse. The more blood on the streets the better as far as they see it. And Newsome's on the edge of the conflict egging Trump on.Praying he goes to far and then old Gavin can swoop to the rescue.

And of course Trump and co want pretty much the same thing. They want those anti-fa goons to kill some ICE agent or agents preferably to give them the legitimate excuse to crack down and crack down hard on what they see as an illegal insurrection against Federal power...which it already kinda is but Trump has to moved carefully as American's don't really (yet) want to see NG troops patrolling US cities.

Both sides are eagerly looking for the excuse to start fighting but neither wants to be the side to fire the first shot as chances are whomever shoots first loses due to the average Joe seeing them as the evil side.

The real big question is; how far are the Democratic elites willing to push? Are they willing to risk open confrontation with Trump to gain back power? I say no, for now, as the mid-terms still hold some hope for them but if there is another blow out in the mid-terms we could see the tension quickly escalate and we all know the Left has no problem killing people via proxies so my bet is if the Dems do indeed lose the mid-terms then they will go all out as whomever wins in 2028 will control the 2030 census and thus the next few decades of political power thanks to the re-apportioning of house seats.

This is cold civil war and nothing less. Immigration is just the excuse being used to try to force a open confrontation by both sides.

She complains about the followups...but she is looking incredulously at the camera, laughing, making faces, talking in a "What the fuck is wrong with you?" tone at the very first ask. Then...she claims the reporter is the one being argumentative? The question was obviously not taken seriously, that is appropriate folow-up time.

Reminds me of Colbert and his "Better Know A District" segment which interviewed house members. The Colbert Report Colbert was still just as much a Democrat as he is now, but he played a dumb conservative as satire. Eventually, Democrats demanded their Reps stop appearing in the segment. Why? Because the dumb conservative stereotype who was actually a democrat trying to make them look good by lobbing ridiculous softballs caught them up and made them give dumb, politically damaging answers. These people are not sending their best.

What's with these social justice warriors and mistreating animals and children? They'll go up to bat for any brown skinned group irrespective of personal agency, but show that they're just as callous, self-centered, naive as anybody else. I take it they just hate Western society but love the benefits they afford from it.

Man, I was browsing the main Lolcows board and decided to catch up on the DJT thread highlights just to see what they were saying and the last time I had looked at the thread was before Kirk was assassinated. Didn't realize they were celebrating it and gravedancing on him. It has all the same lines as bluesky and reddit, that he got what he deserved because he supported the 2nd amendment, that he was an evil person, that right wing people celebrate innocent people on the left getting murked, the Minnesota politicians, complaining about ICE(???), etc. All of those comments are like 95% updooted so it seems to be the general consensus there.

Hits a bit different knowing that they'd celebrate me getting my neck blown open in front of my family just because I don't have the same views as them.

It's because these people never consider that they could die or be severely wounded. All they think about is how cool they would be to dress up like '60s radicals and throw their fist up in the air and march around with guns. Like you said, they're sheltered and have probably never been in real danger in their life.

I'll never forget watching World War I documentaries that talked about how excited everybody in Europe was to get into a war with each other in the early 20th century. These were educated people who got their ideas about war from poetry and other romanticized tales of war glory. So many of them thought that going to war was going to be so fun thinking nothing about about landmines, mustard gas, or machine guns might actually kill them.

Exactly. Shock collars aren't something you use for stupid shit like this, like you said it'll make the dog paranoid, nervous and fearful. There is no way it understands or can be made to understand why its getting shocked just for getting out of bed. Thats not normal, its not a reasonable thing to do and using a shock collar like this screams that he's an animal abuser. If he does shit like this to the dog on camera what does he do to it when he's not being filmed?

What he did in that video is a bad look and raises all kinds of red flags. Its the kind of shit legit psychopaths do

Pretty sure that's what snapped a lot of the people not neck deep in the left out of it. He wasn't some governor or senator or something. He was a dude with an opinion running a youtube channel and a respectful platform, and those things are glad he died not cause he did anything, but because he disagreed with them.
