Missile defenses always lose out ultimately to saturation, and that's why MIRV and decoy warheads are such a common feature in the world of nuclear weapons, so the idea that the US would be confident in a 100% intercept rate is extremely unlikely. However, any significant rate is a terrible problem for the opposition in a MAD situation to face. Israel has back pocket access to most of the fancier US shit and they still lose to propane tanks fired generally in their direction from time to time. Problem is that getting Lucky in a nuclear exchange is possibly one of the worst outcomes you could have.

I think a lot of these non americans don't hate us, or look down their nose at us, i've seen a lot of them that admire what we are adn what we have. i can't stand the governments of the UK, or Germany, or France, but most of their people are just abused vassals. I hope they raise up and overthrow the yolk of the oppressive leaders they seem to have. The Franks and the kingdom of scotland, england and ireland were where a lot of us americans came from, and we will always feel as part of them, and they will always be a part of us. This past century has been rather tumultuous and seems to have done a lot to fracture our ties. I do hope this is just a period that will end soon, who knows.
