The Federal Army in 1861 was very retarded and the actions of federal officials towards the opening salvos of the civil war during the 1850s were even more so.

By 1864 the retards were all dead or fired, and the feds weren't just bringing the hammer. They were bringing Armageddon. People really dont appreciate how savage the American Civil War was. The Union Army literally SACKED entire cities towards the end of the war. Atlanta, Savannah, and Richmond were razed to the ground by Federal soldiers.

In the 1850s, the Federal officials on the frontier and in the South did not truly believe they would be put in a position where they would have too fight their countrymen. But things kept escalating and it soon became abundantly clear the people around them had no ties of fraternity.

This is why I find the videos of protesters in portland calling ICE agents "facists" while "the community" in Chicago rallies too prevent the arrest of an foreign national, and doing so without knowing any context for why it is happening. Other then that it is the feds arresting some brown person.

This can lead too consequences nobody in Chicago and Portland are truly prepared for.

Its important too remember that even today the Federal Government is not set up for internal security. The States are supposed too manage that, as part of their own domestic sovereignty. But it has now been shown that not only have several states abrogated this responsibility, they will now actively hinder the Federal government stepping into the breach they deliberately made
I feel like we've been steadily moving towards a uniformed Federal LE gendarme type force since BLM and its a question of which administration forms it first to staff with their own partisans.

Hasn't Antifa officially been designated a terrorist organization already? Just declare an insurrection, round them all up, and throw away the key like Biden did with the J6ers. Maybe the next Democrat president can pardon them, if they're still alive by then.
The executive can't declare anyone he doesn't like a terrorist unilaterally, that's up to congress. There are really obvious reasons for this that youll think of if you make the effort.
Not an answer..... but ok.So surely you support our brave federal agents that must wrangle these retards yes? Considering the Governers of these states have police officers that have been EXPLICITLY told to stand down and allow these fuckers to rampage?
No I don't think the appropriate response is to send actual soldiers in to police retards, because retards are still citizens. If you care about the sovereignty of the states to begin with then it's overreach for the federal government to send soldiers in. It's already overreaching to be going out and grabbing brown people and sending them to these facilities without any process at all. ICE has a higher budget on its own than most militaries now, they need Chicago PD to clear out little soyboy faggots for them? Or the military?
what do you envision a "leader" doing?
The feds should fuck off when the states don't want them and fight it out in court. The process cannot be that the executive branch can unilaterally do anything with no oversight whenever it wants for very obvious reasons. Unless you want President AOC to start ransacking republican homes looking for maga hats to prove that they're terrorists (decided by EO that morning) who can just be shot on the spot.

California Democrats wish they had a hypermajority on this level. Holy fuck. Granted it's a developing country and I doubt their elections were free of shenanigans.

Normally this would be something to be more skeptical over, but it's important to understand that before Bukele, the murder rate in El Salvador was over 100 per 100,000 people (Chicago is around 20 per 100,000 for comparison, and it's the murder capital of the US) and the cartels effectively ran the country. Now the murder rate is down to levels similar to European countries and the people there don't have to live in fear of being extorted by gangs on a daily basis. It's not at all surprising that there is overwhelming support for Bukele's government.

Looks like Stephen Miller also has an uncle who’s willing to air out his grievances with the man publicly.

Jesus Christ are these people dumb.

The guy admits their family ancestors entered the country legally, so there's no hypocrisy in being against as a mass influx of illegal, unregulated, unprocessed aliens flooding the country.

But if previous presidents allowed them to stay, they were legal chud. Ipso facto.

Its called the US Army. All a President has too do is declare an insurrection and call forth the military.

Abraham Lincoln is infamous for never going too congress for authorization on any of his actions. He simply sent orders as the constitutional commander of the United States Army too muster at his direction and respond too the insurrection.

Congress followed along and passed a budget that authorized the pay for the soldiers and approved the officer commissions. Even in 1861 congress was less then useless in the face of a rapidly escalating crisis

Was this not the case under the Biden presidency? They were planning to kill Trump in prison if Cumala won. That Rubicon has already been crossed.

Edit: Don’t forget the fact that there was a literal gulag 20 minutes from the White House.

Are we really doing the "____'s relative disagrees with them!!! ____ owned by relative!!!!!!" shit again? They did this with that relative of Trump's, and it was a pointless virtue signal then, and remains so now. If only the stories of relatives were of any value when Biden was involved.

I think you're missing a step. His high school friends described him as a "typical reddit kid".

By high school he was already lead down a path of indoctrination, they start doing this in elementary school, he just wasn't radicalized to the point that he saw murdering political opponents as valid, that came later.

Put them through the process that creates Space Marines.

Miller must be pissing off the right people, I don't think I've seen them cry this hard about a presidential advisor before. Usually it's about the cabinet picks, like when they kept trying to get Hegseth fired.

I would be surprised if the US could make it through a civil war without getting nuked. If China thinks they can get rid of us without being nuked in return, they'd do it in a heartbeat. Ditto Russia, probably. Idk much about the actual systems in place for nuclear response, but they've got spies and hackers and shit that could potentially cripple our ability to respond if we were also dealing with full-scale civil war. And even if they couldn't, China believing that they can could start a global thermonuclear war just as easily as knowing that they could. And that's not even considering the possibility of one state nuking another. A US Civil war would essentially be two competing nuclear powers having a war on US soil, which should terrify you for a number of reasons. It's best avoided IMO.
I doubt it would go all the way to nukes because they aren't really necessary in a world of thermobaric bombs and MOABs.

And China wouldn't be attacking anyways. It's logistically unfeasible--they have to take Hawaii and the Philippines first--and unnecessary for their defense strategy. It's simply far cheaper and easier for the US to collapse under its many, many problems:

-$37 Trillion in debt and rising
-States larping at secession over illegal immigration
-Congress preferring drama to passing budgets
-Stagflation that's poorly measured because the government constantly redefines what a recession is
-End stage Triffin's Dilemma and the constant temptation to money print out of debt
-Garbage education system and the America's general contempt for the profession

Mexico would attack--and probably succeed at taking the Southwest--though, as they are the modern version of Visigoths.

Yes, but does Trump have the nerve to use it? The longer he hesitates, the more likely it'll slip from MAGA's grasp.

No, Biden's prosecuter dragged his feet for 4 fucking years. The other courts delayed their sentencing until after the election. All in an effort to show good faith to Republicans who pretend everyone was after him anyway.

Learn something new every day. Read about the burning through South Carolina and the gifting of Savannah. It does get glossed over that Savannah wasn't given the Sherman Special.
Surrender gets mocked and has a negative connotation for good reasons.
But Savannah is a classic case of how its meant to work.

You know you cannot fucking win and you know what the invading army will do if you make them fight for it.
Instead you lose with grace, and the other guy (ideally/hopefully) generally spares you and shows mercy.

No I don't think the appropriate response is to send actual soldiers in to police retards, because retards are still citizens.
If the retards are violent? of course the national guard is ok.
It's already overreaching to be going out and grabbing brown people and sending them to these facilities without any process at all
What in the world are you talking about?
ICE has a higher budget on its own than most militaries now,
It is not the job of ICE to police your gremlins sir, regardless of their budget.
The feds should fuck off when the states don't want them and fight it out in court.
If this did not apply in other admins, what exactly is your frame of reference that says it should happen now?

Ah, so you are retarded AND delusional.

It does depend. Do Pritzker, Newsom and that witch governor of Oregon whose name escapes me actually want too throw down with the Feds? Can they rely on an army of eunuchs, soy cucks and women high on notions?

War requires two parties willing too fight. The Union is waking up after over a century of slumber. The new secessionist cause that has caused it too do so is really fucking gay. Literally fucking gay in fact. Is Oregon going too lay siege too the ice facility with their national guard too enforce the city ordinance telling them too leave? Will they open fire when the feds refuse like South Carolina did on Fort Sumter?

I seriously doubt it.

The theory on the left is that they need a Kent State to fucking give them justification to start mass riots and put the fear in fence sitters to make the fence sitters kill Trump to basically give the proverbial baby it's bottle. If the fence sitters don't do their wetworks, the riots escalate until Trump goes into hiding and then can be killed by the horde or by foreign intervention agents, since a lot of woke foreign countries (Canada, France, Britain, and so forth) want Trump dead too. At which point, the commies take over, anyone and everyone who wasn't fully and sufficiently, devotedly anti -Trump are murdered if not imprisoned (since the new regime will need slave labor to keep shit working), and America becomes Soviet Union 2.0
