If I'm being honest, burning the US Flag should be illegal. There is literally no reason to burn the US flag other than to make a stance on what you believe (the fall of the United States), or if you are simply bored. ESPECIALLY in this specific case where ANTIFA and violent protesters are burning the US flag near the cops. Yes, I do believe in free speech, but literally setting ANYTHING on fire in public, near the cops or the military especially, WILL get you arrested.

Essentially, I believe saying "fuck you America" should be allowed, but the physical manifestation of that (burning the US flag) is NOT good.

I don’t like it either, but I disagree that burning the flag should be outlawed, especially when there are other good laws to get them on, such as disorderly conduct, inciting a riot, etc.

P.S., I’ve burned a few flags back in the day in my time as a Boy Scout. Once they’re worn out, burning them is how they are “retired” per the flag code, but obviously not the in the way the communists and provocateurs at protests do it

I personally am indifferent to flag burning; it's a piece of cloth. It's not a living person or going to pass legislation which will make things better. If you're going to burn it, do it on your own property and not in public where people could be hurt if it gets out of control. I'm neither a red, nor am I one of these "I'll break your knee if you don't stand for the flag" buffoons. I personally cannot imagine getting worked up over a scrap of cloth to the point where you want people jailed for burning it regardless of context.

First safe nation, fuck them. There's no war in the south or the north, letting any refugees resettle from a camp to America is a luxury beyond luxury. If they have time to wait for resettlement procedures, they're in a safe enough space. And if they just need general camp aid, the US is pretty happy to hand over the Humanitarian Rations. They gotta get used, and its just procurement filler for military ration lines so they've got no reason to stop making them.
