What conspiracy theories do you believe in? - Put your tinfoil hats on

Anyone do Odyssey of the Mind? Tell me that wasn't just adult engineers wanting to use the creative ideas of kids too young to understand patents.
It gets better. How many people do you know forgot they did it? It was such a subtle thing to do in terms of children's activities, people just forgot. Don't think about it for years until you remind them.

I haven't thought about my time in OM since junior high. I can't even remember what it was besides doing a play.

This one is UK centric and I can expand on the points below. Any questions, ask.

Starting a few years ago, we had a spurt of fatal dog attacks from the XL Bully breed of Pitbull, leading to the dogs getting banned. I believe something was put in the food, or the food altered, to make the dogs more aggressive.

Ticks carry a disease that causes humans to not want, or unable to eat red meat.

Monkeypox was designed to infect dogs, not humans, but the infection couldn't be direct to animal, it was a test to see if human-canine diseases can work both ways. Monkeypox was human to canine, tick bites are canine to human.

Islam classifies dogs are 'dirty' animals and not halal. How many British Pakistanis do you see walking dogs?

The next Pandemic isn't going to be a human one, but a canine one. Think CJD and the Foot and Mouth event. Millions of dogs will be destroyed, the media will tell you it's a good thing.

You won't be able to vax the pet, only yourself. Lockdowns will occur to stop wild, mangy dogs roaming and killing people.

The whole aim is to remove dogs from the people, as they are a defence. It doubles up as carbon reduction as well. Around 2010 I read an article on the bbc about how a dog produces more C02 than 3 family cars.

Or, and bear with me, pitbulls are just naturally that violent.

Sounds more like you're another pitnutter afraid you can't keep your murdermutt.

They are, without a doubt. But in the UK we had 18 months of non-stop media about fatal dog attacks. We've had Xl bullys for longer than that but the attacks and the ban came out of nowhere and it was approved and signed into law very quickly.
Consider that the majority of bully owners are council estate scumbags.

Why is the internet like this? "I disagree with you therefore you must be the worst kind of person, wearing a mask and ackshually coping about your opinions".
It couldn't be that this is a conspiracy theory thread and that's one of my conspiracies?

Destroy all dogs or save all dogs for all I care.

You're the one saying that scientists are making viruses to kill dogs because muslims or something. That's not even a schizo theory, it's just retarded.

If you've not even bothered to read or try and understand what I've put, why even reply?

It's about killing people, not dogs.

NEW RAPTURE DATE JUST DROPPED! (It's now October 7th or 8th

We were just looking at the wrong calendar guys.

It's actually your profile picture that causes this. Back in the mid to late 2000s there was a guideline/article written on how to get more positive reinforcement and reaction on the Internet and one of the rules was something to do with a profile picture. The guy's name is John Gladiolus and there were around 34 rules or so. If you look up Gladiolus rule 34 you should be able to read the guideline.

It's on a scale from "Nothingburger, you 'gifted' kids just want to feel special" to "MKULTRA PROJECT MONARCH PROGRAMMING".
I personally am in the category of those who think there was something to it. It didn't have to be anything as extreme as like, X-Men, but there were active projects in things like education at the time, and with the rise of standardized testing, I do see the government (and/or private entities) being willing to put money into school type and curriculum experiments. If nothing else, it would explain the suspiciously-high number of these programs that came out of seemingly nowhere and how they were rolled out so quickly.
Think about it. It's almost impossible to change school curriculums these days (both politically and financially), so how were these schools/districts able to do it so quickly during this time period? Where did the money and the curriculum come from?
I was in a gifted program when i was in the 5th grade, i went to a different school one day a week to do stuff. Besides that premise in itself it was not strange or unusual they just taught us computer programming robotics stuff and advanced chemistry stuff that was obviously written 20 years prior. except for the end of year. They brought in people from off-campus who had flat ID's on lanyards, to give "tests" to every single kid in the class. One on one. They were veiled as fun projects. I remember being really excited about picking the roller coaster one because i wanted to know how to calculate g force on paper but then the whole thing was so over-simplified it bored me to the point of losing interest, which greatly frustrated the person watching me.

In hindsight the whole thing is bizarre, the entire program was critically underfunded and run by like four teachers which made them bringing in a dozen clipboard warriors to watch us do below-grade busywork even more confounding. the thing is, at no point did i ever really think i was the target of this program. there was one kid i distincly remember who was an actual genius, the teachers were amazed at the child doing calculus in his head. that was what the program was designed for, they're filtering out the 98th percetile so they can filter it again. if you put all the smart kids in one room, then you pick the smartest one. that's your child prodigy

Ignoring the fact that this shit is retarded, how come only the pitbulls got more aggressive and not all dog breeds? Or did secret agents sneak into pitbull owners homes to poison the dog food in their pantry? What if they had several different breeds at home that ate the same dog food?

Other breeds did become more aggressive. There was an uptick in non-fatal and fatal dog attacks for the few years that the bully's were going chompy. Then the levels dropped off.

IIRC there were a few Husky-related fatalities and a doberman who got a bit nibbly, as well as a few others. I looked at the stats at the time because it caught my interest.

Maybe it wasn't the dog food, maybe it was, I don't own dogs so I don't know if there's a special brand of dog food based on breeds or if they're all fed the same slop. Raising the aggression levels of non-aggressive animals will do little. Rasing the aggression levels of a shark-with-legs-bound-by-a-leash will probably send them mental.

Either way, I believe the next plandemic source will not be a human-based virus, but one that comes from animals and kills animals and humans alike, just like foot and mouth/CJD. Cull the animals to save the animals.

EDIT: You need to live in the UK and lived through the foot and mouth to understand how easy it is for millions of animals to be destroyed without question. And I genuinely believe the green nutcases will come after animals. They've already cracked down on owning your own livestock like Chickens and Ducks.

because pit bulls are bull dogs bred for recreational fighting. historically bulldogs and terriers were two separate functions of dog, one was to guard your home and livestock from predators and the other was to aggressively hunt out vermin. these behavior patterns are pretty well ingrained into their genetics, my grandparents had a rat terrier and that was probably the most disgusting dog i've ever known but there wasn't a single rabbit or groundhog in a mile radius of their house. pit bulls are what happened when you mix those two together for the express purpose of making them as aggressive as possible so they fight each other so you can gamble on the outcome

imagine an animal as bloodthirsty as a terrier but with the neuroses of a guard dog. it's a bad fucking idea

This is definitely retarded.

The powers that be fucking love pet ownership. Pets have taken the place of children in the lives of many losers who can't form a relationship with another person or afford kids, and they are an unbelievable profit center. Mars and General Mills both own all the major pet food brands, most veterinary hospital and emergency vet hospital chains, and several pet insurance brands. They absolutely print money. Pet ownership is definitely something society wants to support right now. It's not only insanely profitable, but also a sop to people who are dissatisfied with how shit their lives are. Pet ownership helps people be okay living in the bughive and owning nothing as long as they have their emotional support dog or whatever. I am not dissing pet ownership, just saying it's not something there are nefarious plots against. If anything, it's the exact opposite.

Livestock animal culling is a separate issue, but if you don't understand what is involved in prion diseases at least don't weave it into your totally unrelated dog stuff. You sound like you got a touch of the mad cow yourself.

Covid came from bats, right? That was the media line and bannable offence for what, 18 months?

You're right, absolutely they make a shit load of money. My counterpoint to your genuinely very correct point is we saw the same with the hospitality, healthcare and food industries during covid. Including small businesses.
I would assume that those who have their bottom line knocked because of the dogflu, would be reimbursed heavily from the government aka taxpayer money.

Just another excuse for a massive transfer of wealth.

I understand Prion issues. I have to ask if you're a Brit who lived through Foot and Mouth? There were a couple of cases of Mad cows disease, a couple of CJD, then it turned out they were feeding sheep to cows and everything got oven'd.
We stopped selling/buying meat from the continent.
Just like COVID, people were 'happy' to go along with it.

The comparison to F+M wasn't the disease, but the over-the-top reaction to a possible, strenuous link confirmed by a handful of farms that someone possibly ate meat and got an extremely rare prion disease. I'm not saying those things didn't happen, but from "a fella has a calciumbrain" to "nuke the cows" was pretty quick.

Yeah I know the history of the breed. I think all types of pit bulls should be banned. They serve no purpose in society and just cause trouble (and sometimes horrific injuries/death)
I just found the idea that poisoned/altered food the cause for the attacks to be ludicrous. Pit bulls are plenty aggressive as is, and the reason for the increase in Husky attacks for example is probably because they got popular during the pandemic, but few people can properly take care of a husky so they end up a neurotic mess.
