I read the Harris book, 107 Days, so you don't have to.
Thdr you aren't missing anything and all the interesting content was already released publicly.
The book is structured with chapters as specific days like " September XX 2024, X days until the election." Most of the chapters hardly have anything to do with what happened on that day and are either memories of her jeet mother who was super duper smart but faced racism all the time you guise, just a 10 paragraph screed about whatever policy position she felt like spering about, or the most mundane shit about her day.
The most interesting thing was how overtly this felt like a pushback against the Tapper and Alex Thompson book, as well as many narratives that have been aired and corroborated For example, the Joe Rogen chapter was basically "nu-uh it was all Joe's fault we did everything right and he's lying, as well as We totally never promised Beyonce would perform at the Houston rally." I also enjoyed reading her desperately trying to dance the line between supporting Israel and Palestine.
The chapter about VP selection was also interesting. She didn't pick Shapiro because he was very insistent about being a big part of the administration, and she didn't pick Mark Kelly because he took too long to sign onto a pro-Union position and she didn't think he would hold up if Trump siccid Chris LaCivita on him.
She talks a lot about how much money was spent on Trump's campaign but almost never references her own campaign's ludicrous expenditures such as the Call Her Daddy podcast where they spent $100k to build a fake studio in DC that matched the real one in wherever that whore lives.
There is constant derision towards Trump and anyone who supports him, but the end of the book is drenched in bipartisan pleas about how she wants to be a President for everyone and so on. Funnily enough, every single time she directly spoke with Trump she describes him as charming, funny and polite before instantly going into a ramble about how much of a fascist and terrible conman he is.
I have no idea what this book is supposed to be. If you were even remotely plugged into the 2024 campaign season, you know how self-serving and full of shit this book is while reading it. It won't convince any Democrat leaders that she should be trusted with anything again, it won't convince activists that she knows anything about what she's doing, and political. pundits and junkies will see straight through her characterization of events. The interesting stuff about Biden being a bit of a dick to her was already released publicly and there is literally one reference to Jill Biden in the whole book.
If nothing else, it's interesting to see the election through her eyes and realize that, "Yes, this woman is really that vapid. Delusional and incapable of self reflection."
