Agreed, something is actually genuinely wrong with Ian's brain.

Weed just makes you a little slower, more relaxed, and less inhibited. It would be noticeable if Ian was high on stream. He doesn't really have red eyes or other noticeable physical signs. More importantly the way he acts is different. It doesn't seem like simple forgetfulness or losing his train of thought from getting lost in thought like on weed. You can see him actively struggle to recall things, struggle to hold conversations, struggle to build arguments or really do anything on stream. He seems so low energy and mentally tired. It's honestly genuinely concerning seeing how he talks with a slur to his speech and the way his eye has a mind of its own.

The cocktail of drugs Anisa has him on definitely does not do favors, especially SSRIs. I imagine that he's on adderall because of CTE and the SSRIs slowing him down. Imagine how much more fucked he is mentally when he's not on them? Dire.

I think there was a period around the OF scandal where they got into some particularly nasty fights that if Anisa didn't actually record, she's probably brought up as a form of emotional blackmail since then. He's admitted in interviews that he used to have meltdowns at the mid-point of their relationship and either punched or slammed his head against a wall. I wouldn't be surprised if he pushed her in a fit of rage during a fight and she's held it over his head ever since.

(To be clear: If it ever reaches that point in a relationship, you should just break up because you're clearly not right for each other.)

I also do think that Olivia, who seems like a genuinely sweet girl, is just as shallow as everybody else in that circle

One thing that strikes me in the CC1/CC2 drama is how much the ppl around the Jomhas were seduced by their money clout and aesthetic to overlook their clear character flaws. The stupid overpriced haircuts, frivolous tattoos and Anisa's obvious cosmetic procedures make them look cool, trendy and impressive in a way that you learn to see thru after ur early 20s. It's like every girl who gets a "cool" DJ/musician bf who learns bit by by that he's just a loser with shit values.

I may be broke and irrelevant but if I meet somebody who does just ONE of the things these ppl were accused of, I'd keep a polite distance from them til the end of time.
