Craigslist Ad for a personal caregiver. $20 an hour is criminal for the type of care she's asking for. 85 pounds of dead weight, no muscle tone, is fucking terrible for your back. Get a Hoyer lift, Alex. You're not a dainty gorl, you're borderline quadriplegic denial. Not that her being selfish and stupid is shocking news.

And once again, what would Alex even DO if this (theoretical) stellar caregiver started hurting or molesting her child while it was just the three of them alone? This person, that Alex will invite in to their home after finding them on Craigslist and deciding she “likes their vibe” and being pleased with how well they do her hair…No resume needed, thanks!…could be literally ANYONE. Does she do a background check? Hell, does she even check their ID to make sure she knows who the fuck these people are before giving them unfettered access to her vulnerable child and her vulnerable self?
They wouldn’t even have to tie her up or otherwise restrain her before doing literally anything they please to her child. I guess she could ram into them with her wheelchair, but even that could be stopped by a well placed baby gate or coffee table.
I truly hope the Smiths are documenting all of this bullshit for any upcoming custody case, because poor Ari needs SOMEBODY to be looking out for her. Shit’s bleak. Can we just open, like, The Kiwi Home for Wayward Children or something where we take in all the sweet little babes that are being neglected and ruined by their cow parents and give them the loving home they deserve? Then Ari, Atlas and Oak Tree, Aidean and Zaboomafoo, and every last one of them could be free from the woo and white trash.
