Israel said it is investigating how an airstrike hit one of Gaza’s main hospitals on Monday, insisting it was not targeting journalists or civilians killed in the blast.

Israel’s chief of the general staff has already ordered an inquiry after multiple missiles hit the Nasser Hospital — the largest in southern Gaza — on Monday. Hamas-tied Palestinian health officials said that at least 20 people were killed, including four journalists.

“The IDF regrets any harm to uninvolved individuals and does not target journalists as such,” the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said in a statement

“The IDF acts to mitigate harm to uninvolved individuals as much as possible while maintaining the safety of IDF troops.”

The military didn’t immediately confirm who the intended target was.

Among those killed in the blast were journalists who worked for Reuters, the Associated Press and Al Jazeera, according to the outlets and Palestinian health officials.

Cameraman Hussam al-Masri, a Reuters contractor, was killed in one of the strikes. Mariam Dagga, a visual journalist who had freelanced for the AP, also died. Al Jazeera journalist Mohammed Salam was also among the journalists killed, with Palestinian IDing the fourth as Moaz Abu Taha.

Witnesses said a second strike unfolded soon after rescue workers, journalists and others had rushed to the site of the initial attack.

Photographer Hatem Khaled, who was also a Reuters contractor, was wounded in a second strike, the outlet said.

“We are devastated to learn of the death of Reuters contractor Hussam al-Masri and injuries to another of our contractors, Hatem Khaled, in Israeli strikes on the Nasser hospital in Gaza today,” a Reuters spokesperson said.

“We are urgently seeking more information and have asked authorities in Gaza and Israel to help us get urgent medical assistance for Hatem.”

A strike on Nasser Hospital in June killed three people and wounded 10, according to health officials.

At the time, Israel’s military said it had been targeting Hamas militants operating from a command and control center inside the hospital.

More than 240 Palestinian journalists have been killed by Israeli fire in Gaza since the war started on October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Journalist Syndicate.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hasn’t commented on the latest strike.

TL;DR:
  • IDF bombs a hospital they very well know is there and that they have been condemned for bombing before.
  • Multiple people killed, including journalists who are #2 on the kill list right after Hamas operatives.
  • They wait until rescue operations are underway, then bomb the rescuers as well.
  • It’s just a mistake goyim, we are deeply sorry and will investigate, and don’t forget that in many nations criticism of this action is anti-Zionist therefore anti-Semitic therefore a hate crime you can be jailed for.
  • Tee hee, send more bombs, goyim, the most ‘moral’ military in the world needs your support.

Weird how you can criticize the US and Obama for the Kunduz hospital airstrike and not face repercussions, but in many countries you could now go to jail for saying you think this was intentional and malicious.

I don't get why you're comparing US laws with other countries.

Huh, well they died for a good cause, making more people hate Israel. Say hi to your pedo prophet, muslims!

Highlighting the heavy lifting being done by the first amendment. In other ZOG-ccupied Western nations who have adopted the IHRA definition of antisemitism, it’s now a potential crime to publicly criticize Israel or its actions.
Don’t think that the ‘hate speech’ legislation being brought in all over the world isn’t being weaponized by Zionists, and don’t think for one second that (((they))) hate the First as much as they hate the Second.

Strange how these "journalists" all spend so much time hiding in hospitals. Its almost as if these "journalists" are just part of a meat shield operation.

We have been doing this Israel murders journalists narrative for many months now. The critical element in the narrative is that nobody look up who these "journalists" are and discover that every fucking last one of them is a Palestinian who lives in Gaza.

Just keep killing each other. They deserve each other.

Meh, not like any country will actually stop the kikes.
Kill the subhumans and be done with it so I can get this gay conflict out of my mind.
You'd still be getting taxed to fund this semitic ethno-state whether this conflict was ongoing or not.
I'm sure this was just an accident...

It was such an accident that our AIPAC babysat Congress kikes apologized to ISRAEL, not to the families of the U.S. troops murdered. Makes me begin to think...

Why wouldn’t a journalist covering an ethnic cleansing operation be in a hospital? Interviewing people, taking photos/footage etc?

Israel is denying access to Gaza for all foreign journalists so foreign news media has no choice but to hire Gazans. And yes, not only are journalists being targeted, their families are also being killed as well.

Just keep killing each other. They deserve each other.
Funny how the West steps in to stop genocides in Rwanda and the Balkans, but when Israel does it nobody in power does a goddamn thing. “They deserve each other” rings hollow when you spent the rest of your post justifying the murder of unarmed people covering the conflict.

They were allegedly helping find survivors of the initial attack if you’d read the article. That’s kinda weird like claiming firefighters on 9/11 that died in the collapse deserved it too. I dunno, maybe they were Hamas in disguise they were certainly followers of an evil cult but when even Israel is putting out platitudes over what happened it kinda makes it hard to argue this was not another fuckup to sour people in the longnose tribe.
Usually Correct the Record I mean Catch the Rainbow. He’s the biggest of the Kiwi JIDF. Sometimes you’ll see WTFNeedSignUp pop in for a quip and some negrates then run away. Marvin will just silently give you trash cans and move on but it’s cool

And the entire rest of the world, which otherwise would have intervened a long time ago, has to stand by and do nothing as well because we back them up like a eunoch bodyguard with fifty billion nukes and aircraft carriers.
