Which i find weird given that Mexico and PR are completely across the Gulf of America from each other. I think US had something similar for a bit, but we have such a massive nigger problem, that everything else looks similar by comparison, at least when you are talking in the before time when you'd get a trickle of immigrants from the neighboring countries while having a huge in house "other" population.
Back to Argentina, and latin america in general, they managed to achieve a somewhat cohesive cultural view of themselves' and so they developed some in group preferences, as is natural.
We used to have this, so did most of Europe, but it was beaten out of us first, then out of Europe. Funnily enough the 2000s argentinan massive brown immigration looks like blue print to what was later done to America and EU. There was a decent article about it in American Renaissance.
