Phil used to get more viewers in the past but not by a lot. The only thing he was early on was shitting out YT videos, but not streaming. He was very late on that and already on his downward spiral.
Nowadays it is worse because all the alogs just go to Raw Phil. But "massive" is just wrong.

I disagree. At some point around the end of last year the KC VOD view counts started surging out of nowhere, whereas the live viewership didn't move that much. The VODs started claiming 110k, 120k, 130k+ viewing on Kick alone. This surge didn't appear on other Kick channels. I always assumed that Warski's goal at the time was to keep the show from dropping below the 3k live viewer mark.

The fact that the heads of both Twitch and now apparently Kick are talking openly about their sites having botting problems means it's not only a serious problem, it's a problem that advertisers are well aware of now to the extent where these platforms feel the need to make noises about how they are addressing it.

That doesn't mean that Kick isn't inflating the numbers at all, I'm sure they are at least relative to something like YouTube. There's no standard definition for what a viewer is, so it makes sense for them to change the definition to their benefit. Twitter does or did this to the most extreme extent where their definition of a "view" of a stream is what is usually called an "impression".
