So, will he cave and pay and save his case from the incinerator or will he remain recalcitrant?
Place your bets on this loopy, retarded, what the fuck is even going on here country spanning case that has traveled to more states than 95% of the human race.

So, will he cave and pay and save his case from the incinerator or will he remain recalcitrant?
My bet is recalcitrant, in his previous filings he questions why he has to pay that EVIL DOXXER MASS MURDERER JOSHUA MOON a single cent for his crimes against humanity.
I envision him failing to pay and make the same argument again.

I just want something to finally happen since it seems like the court has just been waiting for this sanctions question to be resolved before ruling on like the dozen of open motions on the docket.
No chance Greer files anything before 4pm on Monday.
If Greer were being honest to the court, which is a big assumption, then he probably gets paid either today or Monday. Uber and Lyft payout periods go from Monday to Monday and today being the 15th is when a lot of jobs would pay out bi-weekly. So he could send the wire to Hardin after his pay hit and then Hardin would just file an update with the court that Greer has paid. If Greer doesn't pay we won't hear anything till Tuesday when Hardin files a status report to tell the court that Greer did not pay.

As much as I doom about the last Show Cause order being satisfied by "the fire within me burns brighter than the dumpster fire all around me!"

That Show Cause order was for why the case shouldn't be dismissed when he "abandoned his own case" as Hardin said. So Russell saying he's had a terrible year distracting him but is still motivated to finish this case, actually is an answer to the question.

But if there is a Show Cause order for why the case shouldn't be dismissed over nonpayment of sanctions, wouldn't that mean Russ has to argue the judges were wrong and he was right to never pay the sanction? That seems like a harder sell.

I'm sticking to my guns: he's going to pay, or at least get to enough of a "check's in the mail" state that they'll let him slide as a pro se retard, before the deadline.

Considering how hard he repeatedly stamped his foot about not putting a check in the mail because mail can get lost and Hardin can claim he never received it and he'd lose his money and he demanded an electronic payment option, it sure would be rich creamery buttered bullshit if he suddenly claimed there's a check in the mail.

Bizarrely, he has a financial emergency at the same time that his sanctions payment is due.
FTFY

Given Greee's track record of ignoring what's told and pleading ignorance, I think it's more likely that he'll claim he tried to Venmo the money to Hardin, despite it already being made clear that an attorney is unable to accept payments to a trust account via Venmo.

I put money he blames the post for losing his cheque. Russel could get bonus points if he seeks to add the Head of Post as a party to the suit for losing his very valuable mail.

I don't think he'll literally put a check in the mail (probably), but he'll have some reason that he hasn't paid but will be paying very soon and the judges will say "Fine, whatever". Maybe he'll be supposedly waiting for money to transfer out of his Paypal or something.

Greer is apparently a retard that doesn't have a normal bank account, even though getting a basic bitch checking account from literally any bank is easy and free, so he can't actually send a check unless he lied to Hardin. Since he insists on doing everything through his Iphone, including drafting his motions, I'm inclined to believe it.

He could say that he wired the money to the wrong account though and say something like "Well jeez ya Honah, I made an honest goof up and fat fingered the number and sent the money to a completely different count. Here's a zoomed in screenshot of my phone that doesn't show the account number it was sent to. Why don't we just call this whole sanctions nonsense settled since I'm out the money anyway, m'kay buddy boy?"

That might be believable, except when I have sent wires (I briefly worked in banking for a very short period a long time ago), I know for a fact that they have you manually re-type the account number a second time and the two boxes have to match, and a pop-up box appears when you hit "SEND" that says something to the effect of "Have you double checked the account number? This transaction cannot be reversed. Do you wish to proceed?" and you have to type out "YES" in a box and hit "SEND" again.

So, given how cautious they are with wires, it's almost impossible to get the account number wrong unless it was willful.

But that's for normal people. This is Russ, so we can assume he was wiring the money while badgering various city councils about rezoning, Venmoing dollars to sluts and writing 1-star Google reviews. Possibly while driving.
