Erik Prince's Vectus Global is apparently going to deploy 200 nearly personnel to the country. It's enough for getting contracts and training locals but I doubt it will make a huge difference in dealing with the organized crime. A figure I came across says that there are nearly 12,000 gang members in the country and they aren't exactly on the backfoot right now.

It was the British who cataloged and categorized regional styles of Indian curry and developed formally recorded the ingredients and techniques that helped them to spread. Curry powder itself was a British invention that led in time to curry pastes and other pre-made mixes we are used to today.

As with anything of worth to emerge from India, the world can thank the British.
My favorite fact is that while all the spiritual nonsense of yoga has ancient roots in india, all of the stretching (the only part that actually matters) came from british military exercises and was taught to indian conscripts via colonialism.

The locals in the past kidnapped a Haitian American Navy veteran and his police officer cousin who were working in Haiti with Studebaker, another American military contractor, and it's theorized they may of done it as retaliation because an attempt to capture a gang leader went wrong. Criminals in the country have shown they are willing to be aggressive to people affiliated with well-armed foreigners so we'll see what happens.

Well, this is what I'm always telling Democrats: if you don't like it, you should have done literally anything, at literally any point, to solve the problem your way before the populists solve it theirs.

Populist moves toward higher policing aren't something I think is overall good. But what was anyone supposed to do? Incremental solutions or trying to solve the problem piecemeal hasn't worked. Infinite services haven't worked. Stopping policing hasn't worked. The Dems could have implemented stronger police protections and stopped some of the crime in DC to the point where people wouldn't have stood for something like this. "Hey, they were making real progress!" Instead all they've got are fake stats someone's going to go to jail over.
The Dems have been so obsessed with control that they have already crossed numerous Rubicons under the worst pretenses. So now when Trump shows up with troops ready to restore order to a city that is a federal district, people don't care because they've already seen troops used to keep people obedient during lockdowns. People may not like having troops used against people on American soil but they won't care if it solves problems and improves the country. If Trump said he could rape the problems away, the populace will go with it because they've already been raped for the past 4 years and Dean Cain might even sign-up to hold the problems down.

Erik Prince works with some of the best of the best special forces guys, I have the utmost confidence in his people's ability to lock shit down. Haitian niggers stand no chance.

I dunno. I have a lot of experience in Jagged Alliance 2 and I bet you could entirely take over Haiti with that many guys
