Sam seems to genuinely like Nick and vice versa so not likely. The iDubbz situation occurred because he had an uncontrolled seething hatred of Sam and couldn't stop himself from sperging out about it to his face.

That's implying Fuentes was ever persona non grata in the online right. He's never been "disavowed" or treated like a boogeyman by those who agree with his (ostensible) worldview to my knowledge (outside of personal beefs like with Anglin), I just think the online right is more poised to embrace people who were once viewed as very fringe due to the general post-Elon-buying-Twitter-and-2024-election rightward shift in American politics. The renunciation of Fuentes due to the multiple pedophile/betrayal/lying scandals has never really escaped the comparatively very small AF A-Log/drama sphere - why that is, I don't know. My guess is that when leftists attack Nick for all of the usual stuff and emboldened right-wingers defend him by saying they don't care about him being labeled as "racist" or whatever, they don't do their due-diligence to see if there are reasons that right-wingers should also be weary of him.

Besides the claims of homosexuality, his habit of getting into petty infighting and associating with pedophiles, Fuentes will get his followers sent to prison and will call himself a Mexican if it means he can get out of any trouble for being a so-called White supremacist. Honestly I disagree here. From what I saw on Twitter a few years back, Fuentes was genuinely despised by a lot of right wing figures including some of his current allies today. I think you’re right about the Musk having a role in reviving Fuentes’s exposure and Fuentes playing the fringe character role, but I don’t agree with the idea that Fuentes was always embraced by the e-right. For years people called him a fed and a faggot but something changed in 2023 that made Fuentes go from a declining humiliated streamer with heavy baggage toward being a notable figure in the e-right. It’s hard to explain.
