😵‍💫 Obsessed Ruben Sim Derangement Syndrome - Because it's definitely a good look to attack a guy who takes down pedophiles.

I've talked about this for a while, but David Baszucki was a member of the paley media council (other members include former CIA Director Robert M. Gates, Former FBI directors Robert Mueller and Christopher Wray, Condoleezza Rice, US Secretary of State/Treasury James A. Baker, and multiple people in Epstein's black book, like Henry Kissinger, Tony Blair, Rupert Murdoch, and Michael Bloomberg, another former member of the council was P. Diddy) The Founder of the Paley Media council (William S. Paley) was CEO of CBS when the CIA was working with it during operation mockingbird.... just some things
While this is interesting, I think there is an extremely simple reason on why Roblox moderation is so terrible. It's not because predators throw large amounts of money at discord (I've never personally thought this was the case and this idea is kinda fucking stupid IMO), instead I think it's because removing the predators creates costs.

Roblox and Discord are massive companies, and it's not just them who suffer from absolutely shit moderation, every single massive social media has these problems. However there is a reason why Discord and Roblox have these massive glaring issues compared to everyone else. Discord's mix between being a social media and text messaging app, and Roblox literally being an unmoderated game engine targeted towards children makes these two platforms perfect for predators to use.

There is only one way to counteract this, heavy and good moderation. This means you can't just use bots and Indians, but actual real people. That's expensive. It's been shown time and time again that Discord/Roblox can take extremely massive hits to their brand, yet nothing bad will happen to them.

This incentivizes these companies to do nothing and let these predators run rampant. Why get rid of these people if it costs an extreme amount of money, and you get no benefit (to the company) for doing so?

Have you seen some of these predators' profiles? They're never empty alts with defaults, always top of the line, nitro splerging, customised pieces of shit. Same goes for Roblox as well, overly customised garbage. It's definitely a factor, maybe not the major one, but a definite contributing factor, that's how I see it at least.

This is definitely part of what I meant by that it hurts their profit margin in the long run so I do agree. Creating rules but not following them does more than not doing either or doing both.

Really, I think you just have to be informative. You have to hit them where it hurts the most, the wallet, that's why Ruben is targeted by these people. There's the potential if he gets enough reach, it'll effect their bottom line. That's why they've done just about everything, outside of hiring assassins, to silence him. I genuinely hate to take away kid's ability to have fun on a game designed for them, but if you've got a minor relative, their parents need to know what's going on. You don't have to mention Ruben or Kiwi Farms, just be informative about what has been going on with the company and their game. Bring up news articles and other media that will make them see the truth. If enough people are informed then that might put enough of a dent in their profit to make them do something about it.

I had to tell my sister and my 15 year old niece what was going on, and this was a couple of years ago. I had to teach her how to be safe online and not to interact with anyone that she didn't know from real life. I didn't bring up Ruben or KF, just articles about how children were being groomed or kidnapped.

I think mileage varies with informing parents, and to a wider extent just people in general, about a social platform being dangerous (nonce-den, censorship issues, privacy issues). Even when presented with a superior alternative, it's difficult for users to escape the pull of the shittier platform being more popular.

In the case of Roblox/Discord you run up against children envying the kids with less attentive parents who just let them run wild on the net, no questions asked. Sort of like trying to explain to a child why they have to wear a helmet to ride a bike, even if all their friends don't.

Total Roblox Death (or just actual, effective moderation) is the best solution.

Me personally, I’d just tell it to a parent straight; stop being a lazy fuck and raise your child, don’t let an iPad do it

I’m sorry, I know that’s considered very antagonizing to say but I’m sick and tired of this shit, man. No child needs to be on the internet, no child needs a smartphone, no child needs an iPad, they need a fucking parent. Obviously predators are awful and must feel all the guilt, but I can’t help but place some blame on parents who decide to have a kid and then avoid spending time with them. It’s like letting your child walk outside alone, like yes, that motorist should’ve been more careful and they are by all intensive purposes a murderer, but what the fuck did you think would happen???

There is no reason on Earth or beyond that a child ever needs internet access until they’re at the bare minimum 17. That’s not even the age to give it to them, that’s just the bare minimum if you fucking must.

“But my child’s bored!” Give them a fucking book. A Sketchpad. Turn on a TV, play some DVD’s, take them outside. Be a parent.

We as a society are very often too hard on parents, and sometimes we’re too light. I feel like this is one of those times.

I believe there are a lot of lazy parents but also ignorant parents, especially the ones that post pictures of their kids to social media. They either don't care because they can't be bothered to raise their kids or are blissfully unaware of how dangerous the Internet can be. I am genuinely awestruck sometimes at the lack of proper parenting skills.

A lot of parents just outsource parenting to an ipad/the internet since it gets their kid to shut up and sit down as long as its in their hands. That and a lot of parents not are just retarded, plain and simple, and are actually bewildered when they discover that actually, giving your kid unfettered access to the internet was a HORRIBLE fucking idea.

I've been telling people for years that if platforms like Roblox and YouTube don't fix the EPI/grooming problem the government will create a solution for them and no one will like it.
I stopped playing mostly because of how brainrotty and greedy the platform is. I'm certain you're well aware of how the platform shafts minors who work on games. And cuts them off of profits. It really doesn't surprise me. Have you looked into those Roblox "manager games" like "Work at a Fast Food Restaurant"? And the like.

Note: Roblox allows predators because they've had predators work on staff before. Hence why "nothing ever happens" is a thing. Birds of a predator feather, flock together.

At that statement, many millennial parents scream in rage and all at once say: "I'm too busy!" It all comes down to laziness for these parents, if they are actually too busy, they don't need children or should get outside help like grandmother or grandfather to assist.

About that. Millennials most of the time are parents because they had them at a very young age. And they want to party. So instead of either putting it up for adoption or just aborting (when it was legal) they rather neglect the child and bang Pedro the pool guy.

These children end up being groomed, then grooming people into kinks these creeps hsve developed which leads into more children being born from this degeneracy.

There was less evidence for conspiracy theories that proved to be real. I'm majorly doing some noticing here.
I'm pretty sure the seethe towards Ruben from roblox staff started when he exposed some of them for uploading their nudes online and following gay furry porn on their main accounts

Was that guy ever posted about on here? I think it's important to document who he was, what he did, and that this man was entirely employed by Roblox and still is(?).

If every parent understood the scale of the grooming problem on Roblox, the company would cease to exist. Sadly, no YouTube video, tweet, or lawsuit will reach enough parents to undo the effects of Roblox's safety claims. The platform invests so much effort into convincing parents that they don't need to supervise their kids when they play games with complete strangers.

It's along with the fact that platforms like Roblox and YouTube Kids "assures" parents that they can be "safe" on their kid-oriented platforms from the start, no supervision required, no take-backsies. "It's like online LEGO's; your kid can do and build anything they want!" Except the weird adults who still play with LEGO's are along for the ride too, in the same room, without you noticing.

It's not like I fault parents for it, ex. my parents only visit Facebook, YouTube, Google and the occasional help forum, that, for them, is the entire internet, they think the internet is only full of helpful strangers and friends/family. Pedophilia doesn't even cross their mind.

Definitely Roblox has fucked up, but I feel like this is a wider culture problem. This is a lot bigger than just Roblox, it’s the economy making parents work two jobs and society convincing them kids are more than barely sentient at 5. Think about it, predators have nothing to groom online if we get kids offline. I know it sounds like a “What were you wearing” type reasoning, except kids have no reason to be online in the first place. It’s stopping a problem by getting rid of a very useless cultural phenomenon.

By the way, since you’re banned from Roblox and Discord, what’s the game plan if you don’t mind me asking? When it comes to catching predators that is. You just gonna rely on lurking and people reporting to you via Twitter DMs? I’d be careful to keep good standing with Twitter so that dosent get cut off also. Obviously still call out predators, but if I were you I’d maybe not pick fights that don’t need to be picked. Just advice :)

I'm surprised how popular this opinion is on the farms.

I think kids having internet access is fine, it's not impossible to teach them how to use it even at a young age. My parents for once taught me to never trust online strangers or look at pictures of "naked women" when I was litte, and those lessons have shaped how I use the computer until this very day.

Of course not every kid works the same, some will need to have a restrict access, others will have to not use it all like you said, but I fail to see how all children in the world would need to stop using the internet, especially in the modern world, where as soon as you know how to tie your shoes, the internet becomes absolutely essential for work, school, communication, etc, like it or not.

Unless you're Amish, you're gonna often need to use the webs eventually.

You could argue how truly dangerous the internet is, but I think it wouldn't be that different as much as trusting your son/daughter having to go outside by themselves or teach them how to be social and to avoid certain people/situations in school.

Agreed, albeit I think parents should be much, much more conscious and aware of their child's internet usage especially considering how predatory and greedy all of these companies (especially ones like Roblox and YouTube) are and how they are willing to do literally anything regardless of whether or not it is ethical. As Sperg Spectating pointed out earlier, they allow these sort of "people" to use their services because it gives them money in the long-term and assures that they'll be a customer not only to the company, but to future ones (for example Google Analytics on adult websites) all sorts of gross things as a result of said grooming/EPI.

There needs to be a shift in the parenting culture to be much, much more mindful and involved with their kids ASAP especially considering how dangerous EPI is to a kid's mental (and physical growth), how universally terrible these companies practices are and how the internet is becoming a part of our lives nowadays, in my opinion.

At this point the phrase 'safe for kids' on the internet really means 'dangerous for kids'.
