This and Trump's refusal to admit that Pam Bondi blew it big time is the main problem with this whole situation. Trump had no reason to step in on the question directed at Bondi about the Epstein shit in the first place, It's not like we actually expect Donald Trump himself to take the time to go through these files. Trump knows that's her department so just let her answer the question and take the heat. It's like he knows Pam Bondi is retarded and feels too bad for her to fire her so he has to keep her around and desperatly try to discourage her from speaking or being asked questions.
Kinda pisses me off that hundreds of State Dept workers spent hours while on the clock applauding 1300 people walking out the door one by one. Wasting even more taxpayer $$ there for a useless gesture to make themselves feel good. Reminds me of the robozombie funeral from The Black Hole.

It's the sarcasm, because there isn't one. Trump talked about it, but it was never a core promise or focus of his agenda. Yes, I'd love to know all about Epstein's connections, but realistically what is that going to accomplish? How is that going to benefit America right now or actually deal with or current core issue of tens of millions of people in America who shouldn't be here? We can survive a delay in releasing all the government secrets. We cannot survive demographic replacement. Fucking priorities people.
Honestly, I hope it's true. Things are going so much smoother compared to the first term, even the Never Trumpers are being whipped into line. Dems and Anti-Trumpers have been impotent since the election, so now they're going to spam that Trump is a pedophile (again) for a couple of weeks before it dies down.
If it was a behind-the-scenes mutually-assured-destruction negotiation between Trump and all the Rapists of the List then Bondi's public actions were all in service of that negotiation. There is no fucking chance she signaled that heavily, failed, and still has Trump saying she's doing a great job. She obviously was acting in a way he approved of and the most obvious reason to me seems to be they wanted to scare the shit out of everyone on the list by suggesting Trump might actually drop it. This would put them into the state you'd want someone to be in for a negotiation, namely, scared of what you might do. It's the Art of the Deal™.
