This is 100% true. High IQ is like physical talent, it doesn’t matter that much until you’re competing against others who have maximised their effort and optimized their practice and you’re in a high position in a field where it really matters. I’d say its like being a sprinter, you can be an exceptional sprinter with effort and beat all of your peers, but you’ll probably still never beat Usain Bolt.Tbf i dont get that obsession with IQ. In my experience, ppl (as long as they are like below an 85 IQ aka to stupid for even the army) achieve things in life bc they work hard for it, not bc they are just clever.
I won’t say how I know, because no matter how I frame it, it looks retarded on the internet. However, there are high IQ underachievers. In fact one of the most entertaining things is watching someone go into a group of high IQ people, only to realize that its a microcosm of society, down to mixed political beliefs, education and skill levels. They get very upset that the image in their head doesnt match reality.
I stand by the fact that Destiny is either average to beneath average IQ. His skill in internate debate tactics is what gives the impression of intelligence in the same way his emotional outbursts give the impression of honesty. Watch him enough, with scrutiny and you’ll see it’s all very mechanical.
Now as for Nathan I really dont want to talk about him. He’s a teenager and I remember how retarded and gross I was as a teenager. How he is now is not necessarily what he will be as an adult, which makes this more sad. Regardless, Nathan is 100% Destiny and the porcine thing he impregnated’s fault. I’m pretty traditional so I’d lay most of the blame at Quasimetho’s feet because it’s mostly his duty to guide his child. If he cant fulfill the basics of his duty to his son then his only value is as compost to feed new life.
