I think I agree with this, I don't come from Kiwifarms, I come from 4chan so we have an entirely different perspective on Nathan but yeah I get what you're saying. However, I will still continue to think that meds or his father being a piece of shit won't always be an excuse, and people aren't always going to be so lenient towards him because of that.

Tbf i dont get that obsession with IQ. In my experience, ppl (as long as they are like below an 85 IQ aka to stupid for even the army) achieve things in life bc they work hard for it, not bc they are just clever. When i was in law school there were a lot of ppl i could tell were very intelligent but that achieved average/below average results. The people on top of class (and the lawyers i know that are very sucessful) arent those things bc they are smart, but bc they worked hard for it.

Honestly, I think he'd score 100-115. Destiny has verbal talents, which is to say that his debate skills didn't start at 0. That's why he started getting into debate content in the first place, he noticed that he was quite good at it despite having never practiced. Sometimes, people are just good at stuff for no reason.

The reason I'm not convinced he would score highly is because I notice a stark contrast between his presentation and his outcomes. I don't think a guy with an IQ of 135 would live Destiny's life. A guy with a 135 IQ would not have dropped out of college and probably wouldn't have majored in Music (no offense to the music lovers out there). A guy with an IQ of 135 would not end up as a carpet cleaner who lucked into streaming. People with IQs that high become lawyers, doctors, and engineers. I agree but studies have proven that IQ does have a correlation with life outcomes. It's a useful tool. If I am wrong and Destiny really is high-IQ, then he is at least proof that EQ matters more. I don't put him below 100 because he does seem to demonstrate a good ability to study. I think people below certain IQs just deadass do not possess the ability to do that. Plenty of people with high IQs also can't study. It's a skill, and I think possessing it does say something about intelligence to some extent.

Most of what Destiny says makes no sense logically. This is usually not an issue 90% of the time because he's just on his own stream preaching to his own cult. He thrives in a fast-paced conversation format because in those situations he can usually scrape by getting cheap dunks in or fake passionate, fast paced, soy rants so his audience can spam GODSTINY like clapping seals in his DGG chat. He's a twitter soy poster personified.

In most of his debates it is either uninteresting truisms that he repeats from wikipedia, and when he actually has to think for himself to formulate an argument it is usually completely nonsensical.
