It's important to remember why Chibi like any other gaijin is hilariously retarded. Say what you will but Japan but it's still a 1st world country and being happy with a good social circle, hobbies and acceptable job/working conditions is possible. (although fluency is probably make or break)

What I will never stop finding funny is how so many foreigners with zero interest in teaching and kids are suddenly "discovering" that they would love to teach English, but we all know they just don't care about anything else but being in Japan. Then they quickly realize that doing a job that the vast majority of people would never even consider pleasant on minimum wage in a country where they can barely understand anyone is not a very nice way to live.

Depends on the reason for his deportation. Just losing his job and not getting another one means he gets sent back to America where he'll have to find another employer to get him there for a work visa for a long term stay, commiting a crime would result in a deportation along with a ban for a couple of years. If they notice something is off with his papers, they'll either lock him up in his hotel or at a police station before figuring out what's going on, if they don't like it, he'll be deported and will be allowed to come back once he's fixed/corrected whatever it was that they had a problem with.

I think it depends on why he was deported. If it's overstaying is visa then his account will be flagged and each time he shows up he'll be subject to secondary and they'll crawl up his ass to make sure he's not coming in to work illegally. If he's actually broken the law however then he'd be prevented from entering the country for a certain period of time. And if it's a serious crime then it's a lifetime ban.

Overstaying a visa wouldn't just be a temporary ban on entering Japan but a permeant mark all immigration offices can see. It's effectively a 100% guarantee you'll never be approved for a visa for any country ever again. But if I'm 100% honest I don't think even Chibi would do something as dumb as overstaying a visa.

Working remotely for less then 6 months in a year, it's illegal however no one would find out if you keep your mouth shut and are smart about your work situation (Longer then 6 months and you become a tax citizen of many countries, you have to apply for visas, show income history etc). If you ever go to south east Asia recently it's full of digital nomads doing these short term illegal stays while working remotely for western companies. You used to be able to get amazing AirBnB's for a few months but not sure if that is still a thing anymore.

But yeah I've seen guys who couldn't get a date back here and they go to Japan and suddenly turn into "Charisma Man" and all the little J-girls are crazy about them.

Most of the interest however is superficial and they're just seen as being more fun than Japanese men. Wow, I'm surprised how clean the place is minus that grimy ass bath mat and toilet tray.
