For people who weren’t around in the 90’s evangelicals were an anchor around the neck of Republicans. Even as a kid I can remember how absolutely insufferable they were. They genuinely turned me off of Christianity for a long time. Weirdly, the churches now seem to have swung to be full on fags. I just want traditional, family and community oriented Christianity. That also isn’t importing as many Haitians and Africans as possible (I’m really pissed at a lot of Christians for this because they have a huge part in it.)
Congress is no longer a governing body. They just sign off on lobbyist and the Presidents bills. The showdowns with the courts has increased so much because Congress will not legislate. They hand power to the exec because the President actually has to answer to voters while Congress sits around and gets absolutely nothing done and never has to. And if shit gets contentious well that’s what activist judges are for. It’s why Massie and AOC get attention. They don’t introduce, sponsor, or get legislation passed. It’s maddening this is only going to get worse unless we can break the razor thin margins for elections.
If this happened, MSM would collapse overnight and I’m not exaggerating. Pharmacy ads are single-handedly propping up all these “news” organizations with advertising money. I hope RFK tries in a year or two.

The Church responded to white people leaving the faith (as a result of white kids being turned off from the faith by their crazy religious parents) by importing traditional Christians from Africa and Latin America. I remember back in the day when I was a kid, most of my religious school and church were white, but after the 2010s, when the older whites aged away and their kids left the Faith, I saw a lot of them get replaced with Latinos and Asians, with a black man serving as a pastor for a long while before an Asian arrived to take his place. Before that, they used to have two white priests.
Congress just got fucking lazy and allowed Bush Jr./Obama/Trump/Biden to do all their work for them. This shit has been going on for years. Even during the Obama administration, I saw arguments his supporters made for making the President more powerful because Congress takes to long to do shit. I'm counting down the days until we have a "First Citizen" as a president, then finally, a king; maybe even an emperor. Hey, we already have a basilica in Washington DC; several churches, in fact, so there's no shortage of places to anoint a crowned head.

The bill did get “passed” but now it’s going back to the House because House MAGA is pissed that the BBB has been neutered so they are now fighting to get back in the gun rights stuff so that they don’t get primaried in the midterms.
It's either identity fraud to obtain benefits reserved for citizens, or they live in one of the ~14 states that provide state medicaid coverage which is reimbursed by the feds. It looks like this bill stops the reimbursement so that those states no longer want to provide illegals illegal coverage
