a lot of people were heavily active, I guess some have dipped on to other boards and refuse to come here, the farms have its own base of users who are not interested in drama but were keen in watching the synth trajectory where if you go in the first few pages, people were already discussing if he is a lolcow or not. Some become regular posters but after the kirsche drama people just dipped because whether we like it or not, kirsche showed how pathetic of a subhuman synth really is when dealing with people.

Banning long time supporters and watchers like Husky, Puar is sexy, cry, Dragzilla because of a woman he never met. The guy went on and lamented why he bother giving attention to her and only to backtrack why she replied back, this is pathetic and no one close to him is calling him out. This have offed me especially that i just cancelled my membership and many in the thread did too, and this tragedy is still a stranger to synth.

My gripe is if he does not talk about how pathetic he is and how bad life is to him like all the "woe is me" shit, I think we can see a rise of synth again, atleast in my image because he clearly he is not DBDR who has some relatable and fucked up life experiences and he clearly is not Rehab room, him talking about incel shit does more harm than good and he needs to just treat his youtube career with a bit of self respect and nuance.

Yes, a lot of people here have this view that everything is black and white. If you don't blindly interpret everything that happens in the worst possible light then you're a fanboy for your e-daddy and need to be doxed and harassed like the OP of this thread. What am I missing here? Is it nostalgia for most who have a liking for the first two games? I prefer the third one to all others. Not to say that the predecessors are worse, they're loads of fun.

I don't know... Maybe I'm biased, I love the gangster favela setting and the juxtoposition of a white yankee being placed in Brazil like a fish out of water. Peak Rockstar writing, cinematography, soundtrack, gameplay, location... It just sellls it well to me.

My ranking would be as follows: MP3>MP2>MP1.

Max in 3 is a Rockstar character, not the original character he was in 1 and 2, the writing is just not the same.
However.. as far as 3PS shooting mechanics go, Max Payne 3 is among the best games in that genre ever released. Shooting is enjoyable, impactful, the kills very satisfying, every combat scenario is expertly crafted and constantly keeps you on your toes.
The only downsides of the game for me are the unskippable minutes long cutscenes that are actually masking the loading screens, and the classic Rockstar retarded decision to prioritize realism over fun with Max being unable to hide any long weapon, and constantly dropping them or switching off them during cutscenes.

I have to agree on that, the writing in the first two was very much a parody of the noir-esque detective genre. 3 took a much darker and realistic tone. But since I'm a sucker for that Rockstar golden touch, I can't help but prefer 3 lol.

i do like MP3. but the writing is way different. Max in 1 and 2 is so focused on revenge, booze, pills, and boinking Mona. max in 3 is trying his best to be a hero for his employers, especially the wife and gf, and for random civvies in the brazil ghetto.

and the humor. before the CUCKening with Alan Wake 2, Sam Lake actually made Max's humor dark as fuck BUT witty in MP 1 and 2. For 3, Max is just sick of everyone's shit.

It wasn't what he had in mind initially, it was just a gig that he reluctantly agreed to take part in from Pasos(love that guy). It was his way of sorta getting right, and setting his mind away from the depression he'd built up prior. The shitshow that happened and the conspiracy that unraveled before his eyes set him right back to his old self. Max can only function under heavy distress and bullets flying at his face(at least after the death of Mona). He wasn't fighting for hero's sake, that environment just gave him stability.

To this day, no game has captured such an authentic looking favela/Brazil experience lol.
