So he must be back from his birthday Nippon trip by now. No photos peace-signing with his clearly uncomfortable Japanese "friends"? No oversharing tweets about how he found his authentic self in a tourist trap? No haul of manchild garbage to soyface over?

Has he finally learned to keep things to himself or was he lying about the trip all this time?
Yeah right most likely he just forgot to pay fot the internet or is posting in some sluts discord.

Also how do you work for so long at a phone company and not have permament internet plan on your phone. (Don't know how this works in America so maybe it might be a normalized thing)

We have that for most cell plans in America. You get a free amount of bandwidth and then when you hit the max, it gets throttled, and after a certain amount of data, you get charged per gig I believe. I ever rarely use my mobile data, but I do pay for it just in case my innerwebz goes down for any reason.

"Im moving across the globe... I guess I should put in a minimal amount of effort and rely on others to find acceptable accommodations!"

This nigger just sets himself to be milked.

We have that but there is option for everything unlimited and costs like 20€ per month which is basically nothing. You can use it anywhere in the world at least what they advertise (I tried only around EU and Africa and it worked normally)

Where I live most phone plans have been updated so that whatever your data allowance is in your home country applies to neighbouring countries too, but I don't think it would stretch to America or Asia. You'd get charged up the ass for using data there unless you bought a special temporary plan.

I feel like this is burying the lead, though: unless Chibi's "friend" is in their 80s what Japanese person in their 20-30s is living somewhere with no wifi? Null was able to steal kebab shop wifi for months to stream and Chibi couldn't get online for five minutes to gush about his latest pilgrimage to the homeland? I don't buy it.

Making watertight plans as usual, I see.

He may as well just wear a flashing neon sign saying "I AM A MARK".

What happened to his TRUE AND HONEST Nihonjin tomodachi helping him to find accomodation?

Polycule saga is back on the menu boys! Only this time its in a tiny Japanese apartment and instead of a fat goth girl and troons, it's a bunch of Nigerians working as barkers in Kabukicho.

"You need at least 210 days lead time (from first vaccine to day of arrival), if not more, prior to your move to prevent your animal being held in a quarantine facility in Japan. If you are serious about bringing your pet with you, begin quarantine procedures NOW. Find a vet that specializes in international pet travel, or research an independent pet travel specialist in your area to help facilitate the process. There is a tremendous amount of paperwork that must be completed exactly as requested by the Japanese quarantine officials, and one wrong piece of paperwork results in an automatic 180 day quarantine."

"If you do not want to have your pet quarantined but must arrive in Japan before the 180 day period is complete, you can use a pet shipping service to handle everything for you — assuming you can leave the pet in your home country with a friend or family member. This can cost about $2000-5000+ USD, not including the expenses outlined below."

"Finding pet-friendly housing in Japan is extremely difficult — especially in city-center areas or high-demand neighborhoods."

"If you are receiving housing from your employer (ie: You are an English teacher and your employer provides a teacher apartment) it is very unlikely the housing will be pet-friendly. Please note that finding pet-friendly housing on an English teacher's salary will be very difficult."

"Expect to pay an additional month or two month deposit in addition to your other deposits (key money, insurance, etc.) if you move in with a pet."

Even if your phone's normal data plan doesn't cover other countries, you can get an esim that works in Japan for like ten bucks if you only need a few days.

Regardless, there's free wifi basically everywhere in Tokyo, there's zero excuse to be offline there.

I would hope I'm smarter than Chibi and even I didn't consider this, so there's no way he's started the process.

Let's be real though, his cat is either getting fobbed off on his mom or brother or it's going to the shelter (i.e. big sleep). Beloved pets must not be an obstacle to the Nippon Dream.
