I grew up in new york, went to art school in philly, only voted for president once (republican, never trump though), married to a british genchatter and have a daughter together, mom converted to judaism for my stepdad, i play 7 instruments, work in a union now, im a populist at heart but mostly right leaning these days, still hate cops and corpos but also love america, i would never vote for a muz.
I honestly think i represent the majority of the non-geriatric population of america but if i ever publicly express my views im called a libtard or a trump cultist depending on the person responding.
I feel like a pariah but really i am the average american i think.
Zohran is an enemy imo. All politicians are, but him especially.

I'm currently visiting relatives in New York and seeing what has become of the New Jersey Turnpike service areas is just depressing. I remember the Americana charm they had as a child. Now they have a hollow, corporate look much like fast food establishments.

So Mr z, what do we do with the serial killers, rapists and pedophiles? Throw them in the street and hope for the best? Oh do we put them in a “mental place” that's basically just prison under a different name. Also no violence is not a “artificial construct” do you want me to show you videos of lions eating animals or anteaters eating ants or chimps existing?

I feel that, drove through quite often in the past going to 'tha shore'. One we would always stop a was renamed 'Jon Bon Jovi' and has the same ugly corpo vibes.
 
Who would you pick in a ranked choice vote? Satan, Beelzebub or Abaddon? That's the New York City mayoral election in a nutshell. Everyone the Democrats have running there are different flavors of awful. Mamdani is a "democratic socialist" moron who wants half-baked social programs, Adams is a corrupt pro-DEI extraordinaire and Cuomo mismanaged COVID-19 while using taxpayer funds to write a book about it.
 
Trump's newly created PAC just released its anti-Thomas Massie ad after launching a $1M TV campaign to primary him out of office in Kentucky.

"Massie sided with Democrats - and the Ayatollah."

The ad also pits Massie against banning sex changes with minors, tax cuts, and deportations.

The Super PAC is run by Trump advisers, they are really going all-out. Trump has vowed to handpick a candidate against Massie, and personally campaign there.

It's the same way on the Florida Turnpike now too. The service plazas have always been absurdly overprice scam centers but now they've stripped out any and all personality and put up generic, sterile storefronts. Well, "sterile" in the appearance sense. They're still rancid hell-holes.

New York is broken up so each borough has its own mayor and considered a city each.

Libertarianism, that and probably some statements he made on social media. He really wants proposed tax cuts to be met with an increased amount of slashing in government spending in order to not increase the national debt.

The other part, and which makes me really love the dude, is that Thomas is not a DC Swamp rat and actually goes out and see the US/hangs out with the common man. Before and during COVID dude would drive around the US in a RV and has literally spent the night with the rest of the RV people in a Walmart parking lot. And the best part? Once he gets out of DC no one knows who the fuck he is.

“As I was walking in, one of the truck drivers comes up to me and says, ‘Anybody ever tell you you look like Clarence Thomas?’ I said, ‘Yeah,’” Thomas recalled last year.

The trucker said, according to Thomas, ‘“I bet it happens all the time.’ And he just kept walking.”
