I visited starbucks in Shenzhen often, they do have "pride themed" merchandise and drinks since that city is way more open and progressive than many other Chinese cities, full of expats and foreigners. One of their sugary gay themed syrupy slop drinks was pretty good.

It was definitely a thing. Target was more of the "higher earner" customers while Walmart was generally cheaper in both price and quality.

I think it changed to that around 2015 or so.

Either way, Target's CEO should be fired for being such a retard. If I were a share holder of Target I'd be threatening revolts over his incompetence.
