USUS Politics General 2: Hope Edition - Discussion of President Trump and other politicians
Because they aren't Trump. Bondi wasn't even his first choice. She was his backup. Kash has time and a win or two under his belt to prove himself.. Bondi is a liability and I don't see her making it till the end of the year.
Everything Trump himself has done has been successful. He's the best international politician we've had in any modern lifetime. The tariffs were a massive success, giving Trump nearly everything he wanted and BTFOing VAT. Sure, Ukraine and Russia didn't work out but that's not really Trump's fault. Mostly because Zelensky will likely be put to death if they consneed.
Everyone always says Don "played you"? But nobody ever actually says how? I got a solid 80-90% of what I voted for.
I went to a Mex place this week to meet a friend. I know this place is staffed to the gills with illegals because I know the owner. They don't even hide it. So I show up, what you think, were they short-staffed or had they replaced all their employees with gringos? Not a one. Place was packed and the staff was exactly the same as always.
Something like more than 1.3 in 20 people are in the country illegally. It will be impossible to get them all out. Even most. The effort is to remove the incredibly bad ones, and stymie the unending flow of new ones. And no amnesty, keep em on their toes. LFG!
Edited to add: I am not saying trying Total Illegal Deportation shouldn't be attempted here, just that there is some realistic limitations.
Seems like an odd choice of targets if so, besides the libs are fired up about immigration stuff right now, I will put on a burger suit if the person was a MAGA type.
The vote came after an hours-long debate wherein Democrats accused Republicans of leaving immigrants “out to die.”
“For a group of folks who proclaim to be pro-life, this is the least pro-life piece of legislation I have ever seen,” said Rep. Athena Hollins, DFL-St. Paul.
if you think that crying like a retard because he's not deporting enough when the last 10+ admins imported millions of beaners, you do fit the massie mold even more than expected.
"TRUMP IS A FASCISTIC TYRANT WHO WANTS MARTIAL LAW SO HE CAN HOLOCAUST ANYONE WHO ISN'T A WASP, ANYONE WHO IS NOT ACTIVELY TRYING TO STOP HIM AND THE REPUBLICANS IS COMPLICIT WITH THE DEATH OF BILLIONS!!!! But remember to peacefully protest."
Nah, its all good man, they said they only support peaceful protests.

Also, if you make their lives in the US harder and harder, then you can create the conditions whereby they fuck off of their own accord.
That is the way to get most of them out. Not by forced deportation but by other conditions – high taxes on remittances making it less favourable for them to be employed, making the punishments for the employers for hiring them very severe, again making the illegals less desirable. Making the conditions in the holding facilities grim. There are numerous actions that can be taken to establish conditions that encourage their voluntary departure. The life of an illegal should be miserable and full of fear.
You can encourage many more individuals to leave voluntarily than the number you would need to deport.
People should boycott businesses that hire them and insult the owners of the business to their face. The illegals and their employers should feel like they are social outcasts.
Then there is this. In one move, the government has classified illegal immigrants, who are technically committing a civil offence, as criminals.
I disagree. If the majority of illegal aliens are in the farming and service industry, and we're going to exclude them, that's a legitimate thing to be pissed off about.

So what are the pros and cons of charging them as criminals? Because if illegal immigration is a criminal offense then wouldn't that mean they are entitled to a trial, jury, and a public defender vs just quickly processing them though immigration court and deporting them?
The time to complain about it is before it happens. If you wait until you've already been fucked before trying to avoid getting fucked, you can't really blame anyone but yourself for getting fucked.
Please do tell me where Trump said they would exclude them, and for how long. Again, this is all based on a new york times article extrapolation.
It's crazy how many case of Gell-Mann amnesia are out there. People that know that journos are lying niggers and kikes yet still trust them when they turn the page
no, again, this entire retarded flailing argument is something trump has already walked back, fueled by the king of all burger suits giving us a prophecy of hope.

unironically correct as well. make it clear you don't want that shit to happen in the first place and the chances of it happening are at least some iota less.

There was an article posted yesterday that the head of ICE in charge of LA was ordering a refocus on "the bad illegals" and to not do arrests of other illegals caught with them. Give me a sec, I'll find it again.
Edit: here you go. Title is clickbait, since the order didn't come from our cheddar in chief himself, but it is definitely something to be brought attention to.
The abrupt pivot on an issue at the heart of Mr. Trump’s presidency suggested his broad immigration crackdown was hurting industries and constituencies he does not want to lose.
The Trump administration has abruptly shifted the focus of its mass deportation campaign, telling Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials to largely pause raids and arrests in the agricultural industry, hotels and restaurants, according to an internal email and three U.S. officials with knowledge of the guidance...
