Oh, yeah, speaking of Massachusetts: there have been a shitload of ICE raids all over that state recently.

It's to the point that Hispanic-heavy neighborhoods are very quiet and no one is out on the streets because they're trying to avoid ICE. It's also leading to some mistakes being made: immigration authorities arrested a suspected illegal immigrant in Lynn, MA
and got caught driving around with him until picking a cemetery to take him in (no cameras) and beat the shit out of him. The guy was legal, all charges were dropped, and there's footage of law enforcement taking him into the cemetery for no apparent reason. However, in Massachusetts, law enforcement and the judicial system go hand in hand, so they get away with stuff like this all the time even though it's a proglib state.
