Possibly divorce but my money is back on snap because after watching some old videos i'm doubling down on the medication theory.i really am curious what their relationship will look like a decade from now, if Ian will further spiral into his role as her submissive little NPC, if he'll snap, they divorce, whatever. i honestly cant predict it, but its obviously not going to be a good ending when you put a BPD succubus with an insecure beta male.
This is not the guy that was on youtube even just 6 years ago. Something changed which means the old him is still in there somewhere and if it happens to come out during an argument it's over.
the footage of this at 1:20 or so.
That person has some life in him, his back is straighter and his smile is genuine, his words are spoken without constant hesitation. His tone of voice is nerdy and dorky but it's not submissive and whipped. There are just all of these subliminal cues that tell me this is a different human being than the one we've come to know recently.
Sure we now know he was awkward and living with his mom before he met anisa, but you can be awkward and still have a soul. There's nothing wrong with being a weird fuck or even shitting your pants and being a beta male 25 year old virgin as long as you own it. He used to own it, now it owns him.
This part where he talks about youtube celebrities, this sounds like his opinion that he formed with his own brain, i don't mean to act like some psychological genius just listen to it, you can tell he's cognitively functional here.
According to him his onscreen presence during that era was him faking a personality while the current him is the real him but i just don't buy it.
This person:
Cannot fake being this person:
we know because he has tried and he can't do it anymore. That person died.
All of this to say that if this person in those old videos manages to work its way back during an argument it's snap. I think divorce is also possible if they run out of money (though according to the boxer they're still millionaires??!) but i think keeping the status quo up for another 10 years is off the table.
