I think they're playing a strictly risk-assessment view. Nick is an addict, who was armed with semiautomatic weapons, who is combative with authorities, who has a narcissistic ego complex, who appeared to be distributing drugs, and who seems to have nothing left to lose, and he has a kill list. A lot of this "ADHD & addiction" discussion seems eerily close to trying to excuse, contextualise, reason out or justify Nicks sped behaviours, so I guess I'll weigh in.

Nick does not have ADHD, he's just an uninhibited spastic who was over indulged by his parents, seen it way too many times. The reason ADHD is so over diagnosed is because it became the go to diagnosis for bad parents during the 80s, 90s & early 2000's due to how easy the symptoms are to fake. I'd say 90% of people diagnosed these days don't actually have it which is why abuse of Adderall & other ADHD medications is so common. I doubt Nick has ODD either, his behaviour is all just that of a person who was never beaten enough as child. The fact he has 2 degrees (one of them in law), the first of which he got in a normal timeframe (18-21), whilst supposedly having undiagnosed ADHD, would also put the lie to this, actual ADHD people are incredibly bad at academia, even when properly medicated.

This level of Cope from Nick is unbelievable, I'm actually seething. I haven't really followed the Rekieta stuff until recently but fuck man reading that transcript made me so angry. He should be thrown in prison with the key to the cell either thrown away or melted down. My Dad was an addict and fucked our family up by abusing pills, research chems, and crack, but at least he wasn't this bad. At least we had a clean home, and he wasn't getting me to do drugs at 9 years old, and didn't have them laying around everywhere in places children could easily reach. Like why was the bag of coke sticking halfway out of the safe? Quite interesting, considering that Nick coerced Vic Migonogna to hire the man using the GoFundMe money even though he had no experience in defamation, litigation, or the like. They essentially lost the case in part because Ty Beard failed to notarise the affidavit. Anyways, Nick concealed his relationship to Ty Beard until later when it was undeniable. Up until then, it was presented as though Ty Beard was brought on by Vic, and that Nick had no idea who Ty was when first discussing him on stream. So that is Ty Beard's role in the finances. Back to good old mom and dad, who potentially spoiled Rekeita rotten from their obscene wealth.

Yes, the rest of the family inherited quite a sizeable chunk of grandads wealth, espeically after his passing. His daughter, Nick's mother, Celeste (yes, the one whose pills the cops found next to Nick's drugs), is Vice President to the Louis and Peaches Owen Family foundation, which as you can see in the 990 report, has immense profits, grants, and donations.
