He absolutely always was. Even back in his supposed golden age with Filthy Frank and Maxmoefoe, he always had off-putting moments that rubbed me the wrong way, like when he sperged out at HowToBasic for throwing some pans at them as a joke, which was completely in character for HTB and for the video, they were literally stepping on lit candles and other crazy shit, but apparently some pots and pans "literally could have killed them"

@McCarthypedia someone in this thread pulled up some paperwork on the horse charity and saw that it gave like $0 in charity for the last couple years (it's a real 501c3 but they're required to list yearly charitable contributions or whatever it's called). In the reddit post they seem to say it's unknown how much creator clash gave them but they listed figures each year. This first year it was ~250k and the second was ~11k.
99% sure that was a straight up scam on arin/his mom's behalf although it could be argued that Ian didn't know it was inactive.

This still means that only 46% of the money raised is going to charity. The only difference now is that the fighters get paid more.
That 34% should go to the charity, not the fighters. The event may have changed hands, but it's clear that the charity part of the "charity" event is still not their priority.

No, it does not mean that 46% of the profit is going to charity. It means 46% of the profit is unaccounted for. This could be going to other people involved in the event, such as those who are now "in charge." Some of it, as you suggest, could be charity, but ultimately the receiver(s) of the 46% is unknown.
Edit: changed "money" to "profit" in order to be more accurate. What "expenses" entail is also unknown and could include some salaries.

Since he has no personality and latches onto whatever is close to him and chameleons it, id say he mightve integrated way more with h3 initially, perhaps even becoming a cohost or something. Inevitably Hasan would've tried to make him his slave, and keep in mind Hasan did this to Ethan too, Ethan just had the wits and balls to finally sniff it out and stand up for what he believed in, just way too late, it took a terrorist attack to wake him up.
Seeing Idubbbz would've been at that point working closely with Hasan for a year thru the leftovers podcast, and the general opinion on the internet would've been anti-ethan, there's a decent chance the exact same scenario would've unfolded where Ian backstabs Ethan. He would've gained more from it too, since Hasan's community would've been more aware of him, and since he parrots, he would be parroting Hasan's exact talking points etc.
The only thing that could've prevented this from happening is if he emigrated to australia in like 2018 to be with max and chad, as they would've been able to protect him from hasan's influence. Ethan wouldn't have been able since he fell for it himself.
Ian just does what people around him tell him to do. In this hypothetical case its Ethan, and then Hasan. Right now, Anisa is his puppetmaster. However, Anisa also just tries to do what people around her think is cool, so its essentially the same outcome. The only real difference in this timeline is that Ian would've never done any creator clashes, and there wouldnt have been a tana content cop

The first Creator Clash raised 1.3 million.
Going off of 46% is what went to charity, you're looking at around 2.8 million raised in total.
This means that Ian and Anisa received 950,000, while the fighters received 560,000 split among them.
Harley confirmed that the fighters received $47,000 each.
According to the contract that Froggy's wife provided, 20,000 was expected costs, and anything extra was a bonus based on the profits, so $27,000 is the number that we are looking at.
With 9 fights, that's 18 fighters, minus Idubbbz, (amusing he didn't double dip) you get 17.
17 x 27,000 = 459,000 which comes up short to the 560,000 it should be.
I'm short $100,000 and I have no idea where it went.
