FWIW one of those could have been colloquially referring to the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Administration, which issues advisory opinions on contested bodycam releases to any county or data-requesting party that asks their Data Practices Office for one, and those are ultimately published and searchable here when the time comes:


So far nothing matches this situation but they may take awhile to publish, and from the volume per year I have to assume that many just go unpublished.

Another possibility could be a judicial branch case with an administrative case file number prefix, which would not be searchable on MCRO.

It has long been speculated that the only reason deez keeds exist at all is for him to be able to reap the benefits of the trust fund. So this recent pivot from "dad's streaming, go away, never show your face on cam" to "come on in, let me use you as a prop, aren't I such an attentive father" is entirely unsurprising.

I don't know how the jail time Nick has in August works, if it's "he must report August 1rst unless told otherwise" or if it's the other way around but call me optimistic I really hope the judge decides to make sure his ass is in lockup for 30 days because of how asinine his behavior has been today let alone the last month since sentencing.

I don't think there's a conspiracy in the sense that the county is in for Rekieta, I think the footage is just really bad and everyone who watches it wonders why the kids are back in the house. It reflects on the county poorly because of how they handled Nick with kid's gloves and how blatantly he's violating his probation and the spirit of the judgement, like not taking his court mandated drug counseling seriously, and drinking and getting high all through the proceedings and only practicing "sobriety" (read: avoiding anything that shows up in a urine test) when he was legally obligated to. The police, the court system, CPS all probably look extremely retarded letting the kids go back to that house in light of the state of it and Nick's profound moral failings and blatant addiction issues.

I could understand some concerns about it due to the children being involved and how it's probably embarrassing for them, but the fact that the whole local county is trying to balldo guard leaves me to believe it has more to do with covering their own ass.
 
Okay, I got caught up.

So a Judge ruled it to be released and the Sheriff said no. Then the DoA also ordered it's release, I'm assuming under MGDPA. Then the state filed a motion to correct the record.

I don't see how even if a Judge grants that motion, which he probably will, how you undo the first two decisions. DoA strongly made it already public data. That should be a very uphill battle to undo.

I'd say 85% chance it gets released, but might take some effort.
