I had the same thought when watching live. He was mostly saying one-word answers, from what I can tell.

This could be anything from a (normal) family emergency to a request to turn himself in.

He has complained about the State's automated system he has to call in regards to his drug testing before. The first two minutes looks like he is in an automated system, quietly sitting there listening and occasionally saying brief answers. Then right at the end it looks like he got a hold of someone.

He probably got called in for a drug test, had to go out there to do it, then something "bad" happened during that test.
