A long time ago, I was going through a stressful time and having trouble sleeping, so my doctor prescribed me Ambien. At the time, I lived alone, and I usually drank Coca-Cola (red can) and a really cheap light beer (blue can). But one week, the store had a sale on Pepsi (blue can) that was too good to resist, so I bought it.
Unbeknownst to me, the Ambien had been causing me to sleepwalk, and apparently I enjoyed going to the fridge, chugging a Coke, and throwing the can in the recycle bin, all in my sleep. This had been going on for a few weeks. Since I had bought Pepsi, which was in the same color can as the cheap beer, I got confused in my sleep, and woke up gagging beer into the sink, not knowing how I got there or why I was drinking a beer at 3 am. Needless to say, I no longer took Ambien after that, and was supremely grateful that my sleeping mind never took a hankering to go for a walk outside, or worse yet, a drive.
