It’s like he saw a few videos of furries on Instagram and thought, “I want to be like those guys. I just need a suit, and that’s it, I’ll be popular too.” But he doesn’t seem to understand the social etiquette or deeper culture of the fandom, so he ends up sticking out like a sore thumb and comes off more like a stereotypical YouTuber.

This. This genuinely nails it on the head for me. Watching this faggot instagram influencer, who thought "the furry fandom is full of homos, I'm sure there are people I can meet!" And didn't realize that he's so easy to phonebook, that upon doing so, you question the validity of his attempts to socialize. Is he actually wanting to be a furry?

He's a culture vulture, whether or not he wants to actually be a furry he wants the attention and the views.

I'd be willing to bet this goes one of two ways and both end with a video. He either makes a coming out video where he reveals that he's secretly totally definitely always been a furry or he makes a video where he talks about how furries were so mean because they saw through his facade and lambasted him for it.

Because you have even mentioned this online you are actively posting this for attention, you can simply private your account and say nothing to not instigate this further. If this is actively happening, I'd love to know what police department is involved and if he was assaulted, pictures showing the assault. I believe so as well. It was discussed somewhere else (maybe here - in this thread, if I am not mistaken), that the next "wrongs" to be given will be for furries. In more depressing news, I was just made aware of this story from Toronto, where an impaired man drove into a minivan that was stopped at a red light. Sadly, not only were three people injured, but three children who were in the vehicle died. The driver got off with minor injuries but was immediately arrested.
