If you look at his channel when he analyzes military content he objectively has the more nuanced opinion because he's simply stating his opinion as an expert in the overall study of war and isn't giving any actual opinion about the morality of either side.

I agree, American is founded on the idea of "freedom to do what we want"/make money. I can see our country having more socialist policies but they will be individual ones (universal healthcare, more public transportation, more land conservation,worker rights etc). But it will be without the whole "socialist/communist politics". Remember we got the policies we did because of how bad it was to be a normal worker. I'm sure if we return to that then we might see a return to a push for more workers rights.

I think if American turns socialist it will be how Israel is/was (depending on if you think labor zionism is still a thing in Israel or if they just became full on neo-con capitalist).
