This, unironically. Cocaine has a relatively short high, so you have to do more to maintain it. And you have to remember Nick is getting dirty cocaine, not the real good stuff. No matter what Nick says, he's ultimately buying cocaine that has had to change many hands between Latin America and bumfuck Minnesota. It gets more adulterated the further it has to travel—it's not like he's getting an ounce from a large mover in Miami. So he has to do it even more often to maintain the cocaine high. And I don't remember seeing any drug testing kits in the police log of evidence, which any smart user of strange drugs (especially any drug sold to them as "molly" or "ecstasy") would have to make sure they know what they're taking.

And you never know what the cocaine was cut with. It could be cut with an inactive adulterant, or it could be cut with dirty amphetamines (which are very cheap) to try and emulate a cocaine high. If he has a tolerance to amphetamines already due to prescribed drugs, then that would also work against him.

But what's really laughable about all of this is his "molly" bragging. If you don't know, "molly" (or "ecstasy") doesn't actually mean anything. It's supposed to be MDMA, but in reality it's an umbrella term that encompasses everything from pure MDMA to a frankenstein mixture of amphetamines and research chems that, in combination, imperfectly replicates the feeling of actual MDMA. It's much cheaper to try and replicate MDMA with cheap amphetamines and synthetic research chems like 2C-B (you can get great profit margins by doing this) than to actually source and sell real MDMA. If you're lucky, you're getting a bit of MDMA adulterated with other substances. But this is Nick we're talking about—he was probably taking meth mixed with wacky research chems and thinking he was a cool club kid. Even worse, he could have been taking pills some entrepreneurial type pressed in his garage, which allows upselling the same product to retards like Rekieta who will pay more for "ecstasy" if it comes in a fun shape.

Unless he was getting an actual crystal of MDMA from his seller, I have no doubt he was just significantly overpaying for what was mostly meth and thinking he was cool for doing it. It's not like he would know the difference.

I get the concern for the kids — nobody wants them caught in the crossfire, but silence isn't protection. Shielding Nick from public accountability out of fear he might retaliate just gives him more power to act unchecked behind closed doors. If its revealed his own child reported on him, he may be forced in public to actually reflect on his (potential) child abuse.

If it's true that a child spoke up, that should be lauded, not hidden like something dangerous. You acknowledge yourself that Nick is NPD, why does he deserve concealment?
