The ones I've seen only ever use grape juice, because A) even for religious purposes, I don't think you're even legally permitted to give alcohol to minors (and minors do participate in Communion), and B) wine in large quantities is probably way more expensive than standard grape juice, and C) Even if someone is a legal adult, some people (such as myself) have ethical or health reasons as to why they won't/can't consume alcohol (like maybe a recovering alcoholic who has joined a church probably shouldn't be given something that could tempt them into regressing into that behavior), but that same individual would consume grape juice.

Episcopal churches serve wine. And if you don't want to drink from the cup (for whatever reason), you just cross your arms over your chest and you get a blessing instead. You can do the same for the bread, for whatever reason. (The EC welcomes anyone to come up for a blessing. And all baptised Christians are welcome to take communion.)

Good point. We saw his reactions to adverse rulings in the Monty case. Imagine what he'll do when actually served for his cyber crimes. He think's he finally sees a light at the end of the tunnel now.

And to be fair - high level view, he didn't do a half-bad job of "finally" addressing all the issues so he could FINALLY start his streaming career again.

Hell - he even started discussing law and politics again. And Null called it correctly for what it was, but in Nick's mind he'll see it as " I gave you all what you were asking for - why are you complaining? You all wanted legal & political content again - here it was!"
So in that sense, yes we need to give the devil his due. His Trump takes sucked, but it was miles above the sexual deviant conversation, and there is room for him to improve and it might be nice to hear his ACTUAL takes on the recent Trump legal battles. But he came out, shotgunned the whole board of questions regarding his legal case. Gave bad and contradictory answers, ignored any real criticism.

But, short of actual apologies and contrition, it was his best take at answering everything, wiping the slate, and carving a path to continued streaming. I look forward to his inevitable relapse, and can only hope his P.O. uses these streams as proof to slap him upside the face with the long dick of the law.

What galls the hell out of me is that they don't grasp is that if you are a lawyer, and are reasonably personable, anyone can do a legal show.

I am eagerly awaiting these idiots, or even Nick, to start saying things like:

- Fuck you, Leonard French, you'd be nothing without Nick!
- Fuck you, John H. Bryan (Civil Rights Lawyer), you'd be nothing without Nick!

...and so forth.

They are listing facts like they were rumors or refuted. What morons.
Here are some facts.
1. Nick was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 28 remaining. He is ordered to begin that sentence on 8/1 @ 7pm. The court MAY suspend it. It's not automatic.
2. Nick's kid tested positive for cocaine. Nick didn't need "use immunity" for child safety questions when they already said the independent cocaine test wasn't going to be used for charges.
3. Nick was swinging.
4. The endangerment and gun charges were dismissed and the drug charges were reduced as part of the agreement. It wasn't due to any lack of evidence. Nick signed the agreement acknowledging they had evidence they believed proved all of the crimes.


Barnes is trying to bamboozle people into thinking Nick did a brilliant job and got a killer deal.

In reality, when Nick was stopped in his car per the warrant, he had no drugs on him. He wasn't under the influence of drugs. He wasn't selling drugs. Nick listened to Barnes and did the "mah constitution!" and dug in hard like he was a drug lord kingpin. Competent advice and contrition would likely have seen an agreement for a misdemeanor and over in a month. But Nick made them work on all fronts because Barnes. Even in that stream he said, like it was a good thing, that raising all that shit makes the prosecutors stronger. That fucking retard is why Nick is the only non-dealer convicted of a felony for having cocaine in his house. Not on his person and not DUI. Fucking Barnes.

Barnes is the female lawyer in A Few Good Men. He has no common sense to see how things should handled. He's retarded.

Nick would likely only have 6 more months of probation if he started with what all the real lawyers told him to do:
1. Go to rehab immediately (instead he made them force him to rehab).
2. Work immediately on a plea deal (instead he made them work on Franks motions and read appelate work)..
3. Work with CPS (instead he made them defend themselves against all sorts of scurrilous accusations and obtusely believed his answers about cocaine would incriminate him when they weren't even going to use the most damning evidence: the kids drug test).

And voila, misdemeanor personal possession charge or maybe just a misdemeanor unsafe firearm storage. Kids returned in 3 mos instead of 6. Probable probation starts in 9/24 and ends 8/25.

edit: he did make a youtube channel but it's just bullshit lawyer interview advertisement swill and an intern who reposts viva frei clips

barnes always gets fired before trials. i don't know anything about lawyering but someone covering what he's actually produced might be interesting. he sounds more like he'd rather be a professor of law teaching theory about how isreal needs all of the money because of the constitution or some horseshit.

Does anyone have the recording of his appearance at the hearing? The judge literally told him his appearance was unnecessary.

I think the drug charges were reduced because of lab weight versus field testing weight. They came in lower later and the charge is based on weight.

The ONLY thing IMO he got out of the deal was having the charges dropped against April and Kayla. Even if the other charges remained and he was convicted, I don't think the effect at sentencing would have been much.

I don’t say this often (and feel weird saying it on Easter of all days) but the world would genuinely be a better place if Fatass Barnes necked himself. He’s a net negative on the world and is actively working to make it worse than he found it. At least Rekieta has no noticeable impact on people outside of his immediate orbit. Barnes is determined to make everything he touches a circus to get his name out there.
