They could get him the best addiction treatment in America, but then he'd have to admit he has a problem and that he's lost control of his life. They could also get him the best medical coverage, but that can only help so much if he huffs too much nitrous and he shuts his brown down permanently, or he gets shot in a drug deal/prostitution set up.

Of course the fact his parents are who they are will absolutely help to shield him from a significant amount of consequence for his failings, as they have for his entire life. But that can only go so far, and eventually unless makes a very dramatic turnaround he'll push things too far.

I believe he will gradually turn to them more and more as he descends. Right now he isn't even close to rock bottom, in part due to them, but is trajectory certainly isn't up. He's still in a good enough spot now to not need to fake rehab treatments or anything of the like. He hasn't needed them to pull out the big guns yet because nothing he actually cares about is under immediate threat. Nick is a weak coward at his core and he will go crying to mom and dad if things actually get tough imo. Right now they're just brushing the crumbs of his cheeks.

Nick is guaranteed to go to jail because he has to go to recovery and there they make you accept guilt. They will NOT let you blame the cops for planting it in the kids hair, the will not allow him to say metabolized on the sweat on the kids skin. They will not read Nicks "Studies" The will break him. They will not allow him to think the way he currently thinks. They will report to the Judge that he is not "complying" with the recommendations and rules recovery orders. The judge will ask what is he not complying with and they will say accepting guilty.

Whatever conduct he's alleging is not serious. The GAL is not going to risk their career or put the children in jeopardy. The GAL only cares about the interest of the children (this is why Nick hates her). The GAL didn't automatically say that Nick and Kayla being free and having the kids was in the kids best interest. Not arguing that the kids should be immediately returned to the drug den made her the enemy.

If the concerns brought to GAL were serious, she would have first reported them to the police. Second, she would have reported it to the court. She would have advocated for their removal from the custody of the offender. She has no reason not to and it's the argument she made to keep them in foster care away from Nick. She's not afraid of that argument.

So the obvious conclusion is whatever Nick is imagining as serious is on the same order as the relevance of watermarks on his stream.

As bad as people tell me CPS can be, Nick is so much worse from my personal observation that I am inclined to side with government first.

I am not the biggest support of government due to how they have historically treated local ethnic groups, so this is a quite a feat.

I will repeat it as often as I need: Money is a moral amplifier. It exaggerates your best and worst qualities. If you are an utter shitebag only limited by lack of finances and opportunity to fuck up, you will quickly run into the ditch when handed a fortune. Focus on being a good person so that if you are ever given power you may wield it well.
 
There are a couple odd things with his Locals stream.

Nick believes that the people who reported him must have lied because they had no reason to suspect he was doing drugs because he didn't tell him. Meaning he's still absolutely fucking delusional that the fact that he looked in every way like a junkie crackhead moron. He's learned NOTHING!

Secondly. He's very mad that a report was leaked to Patrick Melton and publicized by Patrick Melton. Why is he trying to be best friends with Patrick Melton then? Does Nick not blame him at all?
