I don't even want him to detox at this point.
I'm just saying the courts might see it that way. I have no illusions he'll get clean, barring a Road to Damascus Moment.
He just needs to have a Jimi Hendrix Experience.
🎵 There must be some kinda way outta here/said the Balldo to the Queef/ there's too much prudishness/I can't get no relief/

Steel Toe Man, he drink my goo/and then fucks my wife/and my daughter eats my blow/Kiwifags always lie🎵

Realistically speaking, as funny as it is, any upfront jailtime Balldo may be sentenced to today isn't all that consequential since it's likely he wouldn't get more than a month based of the PSRI. The real punishment will be probation. We all know he can't stay clean, and the longer his probation, the more jail time he's looking at when he relapses. Shit, they may even throw him a softball for his first fuckup and send him to rehab like Bossman, (Which will probably be a bigger ego bruiser for Balldo than outright jail time, let's be real) but I'm positive even that won't stop him from relapsing again and the court won't be so kind a second time.
A really lengthy term of probation promises endless future entertainment. I want to see this skelefag do the Bossman dance.

I originally wrote "what happens to Nick in jail", but I think his reaction to being jailed is much more interesting. If he were jailed, I suspect he would irritate other inmates, and probably get beat up by new guys once or twice.
I was in and out of small-town county jails a lot back in the day, when I was trying to drink myself to death. County jails aren't maximum security prison facilities. Jails can be bad in the sense the sheriff who typically oversees incarceration at the county level tries to make the experience as unpleasant as possible as a deterrent to local drunks, addicts, and other petty criminals, feeding his jailbirds terrible food with just enough calories to keep them going (but in accordance with state guidelines), the thinnest mattresses possible, and so on. There's typically very little violence between prisoners. Sometimes there are heavy hitter felons in those cells awaiting trial and eventual sentencing to prison, but most of them don't want to compound their problems by mixing it up with some goober over a game of Euchre or Spades. Batshit crazy and violent meth head types are usually separated and isolated.

No one's beating up Nick Rekieta in jail. It helps he's a lawyer (even if not a good one) because he'll be in a place with people who have a lot of legal troubles. They'll be seeking legal advice, however fucked up his advice will be.

From the start I've thought Nick seeing any time in jail is a serious outlier in possibility.

Non-violent drug offence, first time offender, intact family, in a blue state, non-gang affiliated, well off enough to afford a lawyer. These factors spell a slap on the wrist.

I'm not familiar enough with the American judicial system to quite understand how the interaction between recommended and actual sentencing but I'm shocked to even see the paltry stay recommended.

I'm waiting to see what the parole is looking like. If it's two years plus, that motherfucker might as well slap the cuffs on now and save himself the indignity. Under 12? I'd say he has a chance of powering through it. Either way, I doubt we're getting a public stream from Nicks channel for a while, I don't think he can withstand scrutiny without some form of intoxication.

Our Lord in Sneed, Hallowed be thy Seed. protect our court reporters from the archenemy, Balldoskelly.

May they report true and plenty, and avoid cuckold wrath.

Amen :semperfidelis:

And that legal advice will get Nick beaten into paste.

As it is good friday, can we have him nailed to a tree?

I think the judge will go hard and he will get 5 years probation and the rest.
From the hours of court YouTube gave me, judges normally go under the PSR, unless there's a significant record of cause to nail him.

The real question is: Are they going to do a shock probation, and give him a taste of up front jail time.
