Not the same situation, but the same cautionary tale: I had a friend who I used to hang out with constantly, whether it was video games or going out for drinks. It was to the point where he would bring up how I'd be one of his groomsmen if & when he was to get married.

About two years ago from now, he met a girl that he started talking to. Things got pretty serious at one point, and they would text & call constantly, until one day she told him (completely out of the blue) that she was actually talking to someone else but that they'd start talking again if things were to fall through with the other guy. Fast forward a couple months, we go out to hang out with my friend's mystery girl. Of course, it turned out to be crazy bitch. I didn't tell him anything because I assumed he knew what he was getting into, and I'd already made my feelings known. She cut him off from pretty much all his previous friends and has lied about multiple incidents she made up involving my siblings & I and how we'd treat her poorly.

Honestly this is just Ian parroting what all of Hasan's orbiters have already said, so really nothing new is going to come out of it.
