I don't think they "let" him do anything. You try getting a 300lb+ drunken faggot off his fart couch and away from social media. Even if you could somehow use brute force to accomplish that, try getting anyone to hire him for full time employment. Let's say you've achieved that second miracle somehow. Now you have to devise a way to keep said FFWBT to remain actively employed in addition to contending with his numerous poor life choices, his near-zero impulse control, his cadre of pedo friends, his very obvious homosexuality, his seething rage at women who don't tell him what a good, special boy he is constantly, and his narcissistic delusions.

And let's not forget about the ever-present threat of the sensationally fun prison that awaits you if you dare don't agree with him on everything.

He actually had a real job at one point. He quit halfway into his first shift because the work was too hard for him (any other excuse is copium on his part).

It will be interesting to see how long he can keep that up after losing $100k in legal fees that was only paid off a year ago.
Pat hasn't signed a publishing contract since Q3/Q4 2017.
His last payment would likely have been completion of In The Black around 2019.
Since then its only been royalties on his AR trilogy and any ebook/audiobook royalties which I doubt amount to $500 total.

Considering that HL-Alyx ended with a cliffhanger strongly hinting at the series will continue, chances are not that bad.

Don't forget that Patrick is clearly delusional in many aspects of his personality, and even if you consider those just some tough talk on the internet, his political and military takes are ratshit retarded and completely out of bounds. He makes Alex Jones look like a measured voice of reason in comparison to Fatty.


I am cutting the asshole some ham in his "retail is beneath me" story, because I actually had the same feeling when I was working in retail part-time for a few months in early adulthood. I just couldn't stand the mindless, repetitive work, the completely banal colleagues and being a punching ball for both the store manager and Karen-customers. I despised it so much that it motivated me greatly to get enough formal education to never fear to work such a job again.
