He scraped publicly available servers which is a KF and reddit pass time, the difference being in one you do it manually using a chat exporter while the other uses bots. All the links to other socials were put on the profiles of their own volition. Spy.pet shared this to select people only, before the boykisser thread reached any traction view wise maybe 5000 people saw the site max, and much much fewer people used it. The site existed on the down low for a long while way before the thread. Probably something I wrote resonated enough with him to compel him to share. Probably went trough similar adverse experiences and are similar in age, but different personalities and temperaments.

It's illegal, but was under a paywall and offered as a service to maybe less than 200 people before KF. Probably less, like 100 site visitors a month, mostly trolls probably. One side says spy.pet's site was used purely maliciously to target vulnerable people and he shared the site here to appear moral. Other side says his project is used to scrape data on servers of interest due to a vendeta from being victimized in the past. Personally I think he had good intentions due to being a "xe/xim" trans type in his youth, and probably was victimized due to a neglectful/abusive home life.

Is spy.pet a good person and the site was used purely for hunting predators? I don't think so nor do I know. Am I a good person who wants to altruistically hunt predators? Also no, my motives are selfish and fueled by anger and revenge. Under no illusion it makes me a good person. A bad person, not evil or irredeemable.

JTH fear mongered the audience to justify covering his cub drawing girlfriends tracks and to cover his ass when he saw a coordinated effort on that discords underbelly. So, at the end of two months of updates, the only new things are a storyline extension, a new area and some animus stuff or something. And you're telling me, people have to pay $10 for this? It should be free with the insane lack of updates it's getting.

For some games I can understand why updates take a while, games like Zomboid, Ravenfield and People's Playground. All three of which are being developed by a small team or just one guy. But the difference is that those games actually have a workshop for players to get extra custom content without needing to wait, and their default updates have a lot of new content. It'd say it's worth paying for all three of those great games instead of this indieslop.
