This is exactly my point.

Had the goal of iraq simply been "capture saddam, blow up their offensive capabilities" it would have been over very quickly. But the goal was "leave it a better place than we found it" which is where the nightmare begins. That was back in the naive days when bush (and most westerners) genuinely thought there was a way to make muslims behave but we know better now.

To be sure, i'm still against going into iran, but as long as the explicit goal in remains "blow up the nuclear facilities and leave regardless of what chaos is left behind and how bad it looks on cnn" there's no getting bogged down. I think trump actually could pull that off given he seems to be immune to the news' tactics and generally americans have been redpilled on the third world.

Seems like 25% tariffs eventually. Drug manufacturers say it'll cost $2 Billion and 5-10 years to manufacturer drugs here. Which I don't believe.

Naive or not, there is only one way to absolutely win a war and quickly, but most people won't do it. Its pretty easy, too. You just kill everybody there. Men, women, children, everybody, just dead dead dead. Then you move your own citizens in to live in that place, and shoot dead anybody that tries to stop you. If anybody complains, just start talking about how nice their place is and start measuring to see if your furniture will fit, they'll shut the fuck up pretty fast.

This isn't rocket science, it just takes a love of your nation above all others, a huge arsenal and a heart of iron.

I'm not sure you can sell the people on the largest genocide in human history for the benefit of Israel, which killing the entire 80 million strong population of Iran would entail.
