I never understand men who hate sports. like at the very least, know the rules to one or two so you don't look like a dunce at the super bowl party.
If I invite you over to a game and you start calling it "niggerball" and "bread and circuses" i'm slapping you in the face and kicking you out. probably unfriending you too.
The problem is that most of the big sports have too many fucking rules. I understand the NFL wanting to prevent head injuries and stuff, but it's to the point now that some quarterbacks act like queens. The NBA has been caught fixing games and doing points shaving to the point that the legitimacy of the games is questionable. All you're left with is baseball, which no one cares about anymore, and hockey, which is really only popular if you're in a state with a good team.

It's a shame that soccer, rugby, and tennis are all considered too faggy by the American public to be popular.

Frail boney hands typed this post. There's plenty of sports worth watching (and partaking/familiarizing if you look). Things like fencing, sport shooting and track throwing sports in parties are fun and good for training your reflexes and body. A lack of engaging in sports (more than just those on TV) and physical activity is a big issue in current day America.

Go outside and swing a sword around a bit or throw a javelin, it'll change your mind.
how much do you want to bet he's either 125 pounds soaking wet or 400 pounds and doesn't bathe?

As a huge sports fan, in America, most of the rules are relatively straight forward for our sports
Lets take Football for example: the goal is simple. you have 4 tries to get 10 yards, you get 10 yards, you get another 10 until you either fail to convert, Punt, or score. 2 major ways to move the ball by running and throwing, field goals worth 3, touchdown+extra points is 7. That's all you really need to know for a VERY basic understanding of the game. offense tries to cross the line, defense tries to stop them.

Soccer is faggy because of all the players taking falls and pretending to be shattered (to give everyone a breather) and Americans tend to want more action than a hard-fought midfield game with an ending score of 0-1.

Rugby I could get into, but it already looks too much like "weird american football" that people get bored when tackles are more about wrapping and tripping than freight train slamming them to the ground.

Tennis will never drop the stigma of being a "rich person's game" and the first time an American tries playing tennis they will see why. Nobody else has the time and money to get good at a game where you have to have a partner who is already good at the game to even ever see a return swing. Tried playing with my wife and every time either of us would hit the ball and it would go out of the court fence lmao

I have 1000+ hours in like every strategy game ever made, I read coding books for fun and even I relax with a brew and a baseball, basketball or hockey game.

This dude is trying way to hard to be le edgy internet outcast who hates da sportsball and le normie niggerfaggots or whatever.

what teams do you like? i'm a huge Mets/Senators/Magic/Bucs fan lol

This is the type of low IQ wignat response I'm talking about btw. The guy doesn't understand what he's talking about, doesn't understand the role of a prison chaplain, but knows that massa Massie can't be wrong.
I am, for unrelated reasons, trying to cool it with the antisemitic remarks, but you have to appreciate how your takes appear to everyone else.

Cowboy Action Shooting is the only acceptable sport
I'm surprised this isn't more popular given the cosplay/persona aspect of it. For those who don't know: in Cowboy Action Shooting, you don't use your real name. You use an alias and there's a lot of Western cosplay that goes on. People make their own costumes and shit. It gets pretty elaborate. I think it's pretty cool since it's a decidedly American thing (cowboys) rather than people dressing up like flavor-of-the-month anime characters.

I agree with you that football's fundamentals are simple, but I'm sick and tired of the stoppage of play that happens with flags and all the goddamn rules. That's why hockey is more enjoyable: way less stoppage of play.

I'm glad you note why players ham it up in soccer: to get their team some time to breathe. There's very little stoppage of play in soccer, but this is jarring. I personally like the fact that games can be so close and scoring is harder since it makes those moments way more tense, but the filler in between is, indeed, boring.

Rugby is fun, but there's a rivalry between Union and League that's kinda stupid and mostly a UK class warfare thing. I think League is more fun to watch, but you're basically fucked unless you watch online streams or pay out the ass for special cable packages that have rugby.

Tennis being a rich person's sport is such an oddity to me. All you need is a racket, ball, and court. It's not nearly as expensive as, say, hockey. What I like about it is the rules are pretty much fixed, they rarely change, and acting like a nigger or a faggot gets you ejected from tournaments. There's actually an ongoing problem in the sport where players are tired of doing the circuits - they play so goddamn much that it's their entire life and they get injured a lot. The availability of games is great as a fan, but you know that a lot of those players are constantly dealing with injuries.

I love motorsport more than ballsport, but circle track just isn't fun to watch compared to a road course with both left and right turns. So then you can watch something like Formula 1, but it's so pozzed and eurocentric that they are working to reduce carbon emissions for the sport (while conveniently ignoring all the fuel used to deliver cars all over the world for the race in the first place). IMSA can be fun to watch and usually have multiple classes of cars racing at the same time.

America is truly worse off for losing SPEED TV. Used to watch superbike races on my lunch break RIP

My takes are mostly reasonable. Good luck to anyone reading my post history but you won't find much there that can't be easily sourced.

Soccer is and always will be the faggiest sport. The only reason it's so popular around the world is because it requires virtually 0 equipment to play. I don't understand how people can watch soccer without being blisteringly drunk. It's not like Football or Rugby that require strategy. It's not like hockey where it's brutally violent. Or baseball where it's a lot of placement and planning. The closest thing is basketball but basketball has a heavy exchange of points and playmaking is a lot more entertaining than soccer. Heck, tennis is at least quick exchanges.

It's a shame that soccer, rugby, and tennis are all considered too faggy by the American public to be popular.
Rugby won't because Americans have football. Tennis is slowly rising in popularity and has a dedicated fan base.

But what is there to latch onto for soccer? It's long games where nothing happens. American audiences want gratification and there's just not a lot of that in soccer. Good plays happen, but they're so inconsistent it's easy to tune out and everything is on the fly. It's not violent. Machismo culture ain't really a thing in the states, so that goes out the window. Plus the Strategic Crying bullshit makes Americans actively hate soccer.

The far majority of Jewish voters in America support the democratic party. In your view, are they wise to do so? If they are not, what will it take to have them transfer party loyalty to the repubs?

Hawaii Governor Josh Green hopes either RFK or tennis player Novak Djokovic gets hit with a 160mph overhead serve (Link/Archive) because both are leery of Covid vaccines.
On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “OutFront,” Hawaii Gov. Josh Green (D) reacted to Novak Djokovic playing tennis with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. by stating, “Novak, go play tennis, hit a 160 mph serve, but stay out of public health. And I hope someone hits him with an overhead and shows him what it means to hurt somebody,” and “go back to the tennis court, definitely good luck at Wimbledon, stay out of public health.”

Host Erin Burnett asked, “So, Novak Djokovic, the tennis star, just appeared with RFK on a tennis court together. Djokovic, of course, during COVID, wasn’t even able to play in one of the tournaments because he refused to get the COVID vaccine, right? Couldn’t play in the U.S. Open. It was an Australian Open issue. And now, here they are together. When you look at these cuts now, 25% of HHS, what does that mean for something like vaccines, even, in your state, in the state of Hawaii?”

Green responded, “It’ll be harder. We have vaccine hesitancy, especially in rural communities. I love to play tennis. I was a competitive tennis player when I was young. But Novak hanging out with RFK, while good for cardiovascular health, won’t do anything to prevent the spread of AIDS with good public health advice. It won’t do anything to help parents keep their kids from getting deadly meningitis if they don’t get their vaccines. This is this kind of B.S. distraction which we expected from a guy who took the job for celebrity reasons. It is catastrophic for our healthcare system to have RFK there. And shame on Novak for cozying up to this guy. Novak, go play tennis, hit a 160 mph serve, but stay out of public health. And I hope someone hits him with an overhead and shows him what it means to hurt somebody, because that’s what it’s going to be for all these kids that don’t get vaccinated. And for all the parents that have to deal with the consequences of this vitamin A overdose. These are real issues, and these clowns are not public health people. So, go back to the tennis court, definitely good luck at Wimbledon, stay out of public health.”

"Here's why every politician has to listen to this one loud Jewish guy who calls everyone a Nazi!"?
You have every right to post your opinion, but don't complain when you get exactly the reaction you're asking for.
