They also see America as both a nebulous idea, and The Great Satan who has to kill himself to atone for his sins against the world. They grew up hearing of America as being the progressive melting pot of the world, freeing itself from its oppressive past. Meanwhile, they looked around and saw America as exploiting and destroying the world, regardless of who’s actually doing it. They think that because American companies installed banana republics in Central and South America decades ago, Central and South Americans should come and exploit America’s system today. At the expense of American citizens. That’s what they often mean when they talk about equity and social justice.
Its so weird how liberals talk about how America was always suppose to be a "melting pot" but at the same time, the founding fathers were also racist white supremacists who owned slaves. Which is it? Did the founding fathers want America to be this multicultural country to where blacks and browns outnumbered the descendants of the whites who fought against the British empire, or were they racist "cis" white males whose opinion shouldn't matter because they were slave owners?

Are any of you expecting Trump to fix anything during his first year? If so, you will be disappointed.

Year two is the year I expect substantive positive movement and change. For now it is damage control and mitigation of the disasterous fallout from the Biden years, plus the placement of pieces for year two.

It is as asinine as Cory Booker's self-own the other week when he put a spotlight on how bad Biden and the Democrats actually did. Just like the "bounce back" jobs the Democrats celebrated after the Democrats and their media friends exaccerbated the effects of the covid lockdowns to hurt Trump.

Chill.
Trump said he would fix things day 1. Now he is saying a recession is necessary and to quit bitching about the cost of goods.

“When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One,”

Trump is relying quite heavily on x for getting his word out. Maybe him and Elon will buckbreak the Internet and fix ddos as a concept.

Do you have a quote for that cause last I checked he said that Day 1 he would start fixing things, instead of hemming and hawing for a month or two like Biden

Prices are higher where you live because the grocers raise the prices, blame Trump, and you're too stupid to question it.

Ahh shouldn't be too hard they got pcs made of mud and sticks.
No no, older hardware is more resistant to electronic interference, since it doesn't have NSA backdoors and the transistor density is not high enough for static to fry it good. The best course of action is to sever the internet land cables or to introduce malicious USB thumbdrives to brick those beige boxes remotely.

Current day Ireland is just AmeriBritain Jr.
Economically - in terms of debt - it's much worse. As of September 2024:
Irish per capita external debt is the second-worst in the world, @ USD614,404
Irish external debt as a % of GDP is the sixth-worst in the world, @ 562.93%
Irish external debt as a % of the country's total wealth is the second-worst in the world, @ 362.07%
The Irish and Ireland are totally fucked.

All those 18-20 year old Israeli/African/Arab/Chinese "college students" that are literal nobodies but emerge out of nowhere leading huge anti American protest movements are almost certainly paid foreign agents.

I have no issues whatsoever with them being investigated and deported, a serious nation shouldn't put up with this shit.

I guess that mud acts as a really good shield, who would've guessed.

Islam didn't come around until ca. 700 AD, and some Pagan gods have been characterized as demons themselves, such as Baal and Moloch.
I've always like the time in 1st Kings when the prophet Elijah and the Baal worshipers were having a friendly competition to see who was following the One True God.

26 And they took the bull that was given them, and they prepared it and called upon the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, “O Baal, answer us!” But there was no voice, and no one answered. And they limped around the altar that they had made. 27 And at noon Elijah mocked them, saying, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.” 28 And they cried aloud and cut themselves after their custom with swords and lances, until the blood gushed out upon them. 29 And as midday passed, they raved on until the time of the offering of the oblation, but there was no voice. No one answered; no one paid attention.

38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, “The Lord, he is God; the Lord, he is God.” 40 And Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape.” And they seized them. And Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon and slaughtered them there.
Elijah had the right idea. Let the prophets show their gods as false, then kill them after the True God reveals Himself and end the false prophets.

The past few years I have felt like Elijah, mocking the false idols as people cry out to them and get no response. With false idol being abortion, or transgenderism or covid soyence, or climate change, or any number of leftist causes that are ultimately hollow death cults.

'Shut Up About Egg Prices': Trump Shares Brazen Message About High Costs

Egg prices are high because the Biden admin slaughtered most of the nation's chicken flock. Were you expecting Trump to open a portal to the Poultry Dimension and summon millions of chickens?

It appears Harvard was propped up by USAID money: "Harvard pauses hiring amid ‘financial uncertainties’ under Trump" (archive)
Harvard University leaders announced a temporary hiring freeze Monday, citing “substantial financial uncertainties” as colleges and universities face widespread scrutiny of their federal funds by the Trump administration.

The temporary freeze “is meant to preserve our financial flexibility until we better understand how changes in federal policy will take shape and can assess the scale of their impact,” wrote Harvard President Alan Garber, Provost John Manning, Executive Vice President Meredith Weenick and Vice President for Finance and CFO Ritu Kalra in a message to faculty and staff.

The university’s pause on faculty and staff hiring comes after the Trump administration pulled $400 million worth of grants and contracts at Columbia University on Friday for failing to address antisemitism. Harvard is also being probed by the administration over its handling of antisemitism following the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel by Hamas. Both schools faced a tremendous amount of attention from Republicans on Capitol Hill for their handling of antiwar and pro-Palestinian protests on their campuses.

Harvard and Columbia are among at least 10 college campuses that the federal antisemitism task force plans to visit.

The university plans to pause hiring for the current semester.
