4. Because appeals to popularity (see above) are why he does anything, so he assumes if he gaslights other people into thinking this is popular, this will convince them. Or, at least, scare them into shutting up. You don’t want to be on the wrong side of history, do you? He may not understand that some people are naturally free-thinkers or contrarian.
5. Because it right-washes the issue and reduces opposition to transgenderism to just “those mean Evangelicals”. This recreates the conditions of the gay marriage and abortion debates, and obscures legitimate left-wing materialist and radical feminist opposition to tranny nonsense. Maybe he’s doing this strategically because the right are easier to attack, or maybe he’s doing this because he’s that stupid and politically uninformed.

Either way, he should lose custody of his kids (if he has any), and his wife and the cops should scan his hard drives. No man supports this shit unless he wants to fuck trannies and / or be one. This loser should have stuck to teaching brats about supply and demand.
