God dammit I guess I have to talk about this.
Through my work in the professional wrestling industry, I have come across Taylor a handful of times. No, I can’t show pictures because I am so remarkably fucking easy to pick out of a crowd it’s legit embarrassing. But, I can tell you that Effy, while being a nice guy generally speaking and only going by Taylor in private, behind the scenes he’s a very hit or miss personality. A lot of people, and I mean a lot, are pretty fucking annoyed by the fact that he’s a worker who opens his fat mouth and fucks over companies, while also not being able to back it up in ring and is sometimes an unsafe worker. Most recently, Allie Kat, a legitimate untrained wrestler with another big mouth, broke her leg in half after a shit dive where Effy didn’t catch her.

I won't be surprised if he get outta as a creep in the next couple years. Legit remind me of Joey Ryan, another wrestler who had a similar prevert gimmick before getting canceled by the wrestling me too movement a couple years ago. Also GCW is like the inbreed child of IWA Mid-South, CZW and XPW. Another promotion that try to be the next ECW/FMW.

Anyhow, never seen the higher rates of abuse connected to the delusions that some gay people have about straight people being secretly gay but, maybe? Seem like different things.

That was mostly due to Vince McMahon covering for him and no one at the time didnt want to get blacklist from the WWF incase they needed a paycheck. It similar to the whole Moolah situation as well.
Effy doesn't have a Vince McMahon on his side in case he does something stupid.

I'm sure you're not wrong. But now even with Pat dead and Vince gone, it seems wrestlers still treat it like a joke or a rib. They laugh that young guys had to check into hotels as Pat's "nephew" in rooms with only one bed. The only wrestler that got a legit terrified look on his face talking about Pat is Sid Vicious. I hope it would be different with younger wrestlers today.

The OP (and other posts in this thread) reads like someone who really wants other people not to view WWE as gay/cringe. I think it's unfortunate that the people who like WWE feel like they have to be defensive about it because people for the last 30 years have called their hobby gay when it isn't. I can understand why they feel defensive about it, I've heard more in my life about how WWE is gay and cringe than I've actually heard about WWE itself, and that's pretty shitty.
Anyway I think the OP would be better without the defensive language about how "this isn't like WWE." I think most people who read the thread will understand that these guys are radically different than WWE, and I think if they don't then they are retards and you can just make fun of them. I only know a little bit about WWE and the difference was obvious to me at least.
